There were three of us and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The ambience was pleasant, the service was attentive and efficient without being intrusive, and the food was nicely presented, hot and enjoyed by all of us. We thought it represented good value, and we will be returning.

Back on form after a rough patch. Service is friendly and informal, the food is comforting with style and absolutely brilliant cookery. My only comments are that they need to invest in a big pile of beermats (to level the tables of course) and a few pepper grinders (as one between a dozen or so tables ain't enough!). These quirks all add to the charm of the place though and we're struggling to go anywhere else at the moment it's so good.

This was our first visit to La Luna even though it is quite close to us. It was a last minute booking for our family of four to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were not disappointed . when we arrived we were initially offered a table by the door but the waitress quickly asked us if we wanted to sit upstairs instead, an offer we quickly accepted. Our meals were lovely.for our main courses we had a risotto, a calzone, a lasagne and a pasta dish and all were great. We passed on desserts and just finished with coffee. I liked the fact you can bring your own wine as with many restaurants it is the price of the drinks that pushes up the cost! The restaurant was very busy, with at least one large party booking downstairs but the service didn't suffer - we didn't experience any problems at all with waiting. All in all a lovely evening and we will certainly return. Oh and there is a car park at the bacck which we were not previously aware of.

Food was good but it was spoilt by the small restaurant being overcrowded. Two large very noisy parties were eating there, there was no room to move even for the serving staff. It was impossible to have a conversation with my friends. So we left after one course. I will never go again at a weekend or if they have parties booked in , which is a pity.

This restaurant had been recommended several times by friends, so we decided to give it ago. Booked online for 8 o'clock. When we arrived we were stood in the doorway for over 5 mins while they were trying to get our table ready. We were sat upstairs which could only be decribed as it looked like a student's bedroom, not a restaurant. As half an hour or so the someone finally came to take our order. Another 45 mins passed before our starters arrived. I have to give credit the food was very nice, I has the meatballs as a starter & calzone for main. Another 2 tables did complain about the food & it did get returned to the kitchen, which by the sounds of it the chef wasn't happy about. I would give this restauarant I miss if I was you.

We had a table for 8 and I was awkward and kept amending the booking which wasn't an issue at all. Great service and love bring your own wine! Then you can enjoy more food :) Food was very tasty! Nice ambience and good for groups!
