Located on the 34th floor of the recently debuted AC Hotel Downtown LA, La Lo La Rooftop, is an ethereal, sophisticated oasis high above the heart of DTLA. Spanning almost 4,000 sq.ft, the expansive wraparound rooftop, designed by award-winning design studio Yabu Pushelberg, provides an intimate setting for visitors and locals. Guests are invited to enjoy specialty cocktails, Spanish-style tapas, and a rotating program of live music and DJs — all with commanding 270 degree views of the city.

The views from this rooftop are exceptional. However, for such great food and design that calls for less energetic ambience, their music is extremely loud no matter where you sit. Their food tasted great, however we were served a couple wrong dishes which the staff were quick to fix. Regardless, the dishes came out really fast and the staff were really accommodating!

Service was extremely bad. Our waiter forgot us and felt worst for the table next door to us they sat down if it wasn’t for me waving down the waiter and asking for my check they would of never notice the table next to us. With service so terrible it makes the food seem more expensive. Not worth it.

The hostess was a dream ! She was so lovely and sweet. The chilaquiles tasted like store bought tortilla chips with canned green salsa but they were edible. The chicken and waffles were delicious but it does seem like half of a portion. The butter cake was also delicious and the drinks were very good. The DJ was playing very old salsa music for about an hour which was okay but some current music mixed in would have been nice. For our two entrees, two beers, two cocktails, a soda, and a dessert it was around $165 with the 20 percent gratuity added on already.

Good food. Service was slow; we sat for 35 minutes before we saw a server. Not all outdoor seating has heat lamps nearby so if you’re planning on the patio bring a jacket. Beautiful views of city lights. Comfy lounge seating.

It would help if the reception would pick up the phone and answer calls. We could not figure out where to park due to street closures for the Emmy awards that were going on. It was hectic and not even the hotel has a person that answers to guide you. It was pretty empty so im wondering if others could not get to you.
