La Grande Boucherie is a lively elegant French restaurant that is perfect for a special date or a meal before a show. The decor transports you to another era, and it is a perfect mix of elegant, vintage and lively. Hors D’oeuvres: the oysters were delicious and fresh. Both sauces were excellent however a bit salty for my tastes. Luckily there a lots of options and I enjoyed them with some fresh lemon over them. The steak tartare was refreshing. Not too salty which really brought out the other flavors. The meat itself was exquisite. The quail egg was just enough egg to balance with the overall dish. The crostini was delicious and the texture was crunchy but not too hard. The Caesar salad was delicious and fresh but I would have liked slightly more croutons. Main dish: We ordered the lamb, and it was cooked to perfection (we ordered medium rare). The complementary elements to the dish (the sauce, the rapini and the celeriac gratin) offered a nice variety of textures that made the dish a complete experience. Personally I felt the rosemary tomato jus was a bit salty for my tastes but besides that it went really well with the lamb. The gratin could have had a bit more flavor, but I enjoyed the overall dish. Again, I can’t mention enough how perfectly cooked the lamb was; it was the star. Dessert: The desserts were excellent: I ordered the citrus mini madeleines and my partner ordered the Basque cheesecake with the Berry coulis. The mini madeleines were absolutely adorable and perfectly balanced. Not too sweet, but their sweet was complemented by the citrus flavor and rich buttery texture. This dish is perfect to share if both people are not so hungry and just want a bit of a sweet cap at the end of the meal. I personally ate the whole portion myself with a latte. I also dipped some of the madeleines in the berry coulis for an extremely self indulgent treat. The cheesecake was excellent. The texture was notable because it was crumbly which my partner enjoyed.

“I recently dined at La Grande Boucherie, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance transported me straight to a classic brasserie, with its elegant decor and warm, lively atmosphere. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal. Hostess Sumaya was kind, and Sophia was very nice, making us feel welcome and taken care of throughout the evening. The food was truly the highlight. We started with the escargot, which was perfectly seasoned and buttery. For the main course, I had the steak frites, and it was cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and juicy. The fries were crisp and deliciously addictive. My dining companions tried the duck and salmon dishes, both of which were equally impressive. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the crème brûlée, which was the perfect end to a delightful meal. The creamy custard and caramelized top were heavenly. Overall, La Grande Boucherie is a must-visit for anyone who loves French cuisine. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and the top-notch service make it a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!”

I went to La Grande Boucherie for my birthday and it was really nice. The food was great, the servings were filling the wait staff were all very polite. The only issues I had were that it’s very noisy, which is understandable considering the location but if you’re trying to have a conversation with your dinner date you won’t be able to hear half of what they are saying. I wish we had gotten a more secluded table and also it’s really cramped so you’re sort of eating with the tables to your left and right and the table to my left had someone constantly coughing. Overall I had a nice time, give it a try.

We both had the three course theater special. Entree choices were quite Limited and the food was very so-so. It was a typically busy Wednesday evening, and our server acted a little bit overwhelmed and or just in a bad mood. For the money, I would recommend looking elsewhere

The restaurant is very large and got progressively noisier as the evening went on. It is beautiful and our table was lovely. The service was excellent and our waiter made a point of checking on our theater plans. He got us out right on schedule. The onion soup was very good, neither my husband or I loved our main dishes and would stick to more basic dishes in the future. The chocolate ice cream was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot!!

We had a lovely pre-theater lunch. Andres was our attentive server and took good care of us. It was quite busy and the noise level ramped up with conversation and the piped in music. Overall a nice French bistro experience.

Underwhelming and overpriced as the headline here. Pros: Cocktail was good - Manhattan Cons: Loud with chatter Moulin Rouge-ish soundtrack was on repeat Caesar salad was made with run-of-the-mill Romain, overly chopped, lemony dressing that didn't even taste like Caesar dressing Escargot was shelled and mid Onion soup had too much cheese Not worth the experience or price

Highly recommended ! A big shoutout to the entire restaurant team, specially to our server LAURA! Food was delicious, we tried the macaroni and cheese, eggplant 🍆 Gateau, and please don’t leave this please without eating the 48 oz Tomahawk ribeye 🤩. Thank you La Grande Boucherie for all you do!

Beautiful location came on a Monday night and it was pretty packed, but reservation suggested if you're coming maybe on a Friday or Saturday night. Our server Andres was absolutely amazing and phenomenal from start to finish. Everything we ordered was prep perfectly, the food came out piping hot, well prepared. My favorite was the New York strip with the peppercorn sauce and the mac and cheese was to die for even the bread with the butter and the sea salt was perfect. This was my first time to this location. I've been to the other ones, and I definitely will be back.
