With a dazzling dining gallery featuring 40’ glass ceilings, this one-of-a-kind brasserie is built in the tradition of the Belle Epoque, inspired by elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style. The menu features French classics and timeless bistro favorites, with a focus on prime cuts and an in-house meat program. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic cocktails, La Grande Boucherie also features an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature drinks.

            Came here for my partner’s 30th dinner and it was stunning! The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was enchanting! Bessi was very accommodating and attentive through out the evening and an amazing host. We ordered based on his recommendations and it did not disappoint! Thank you! We will be back again

            Very good, but too salty. I had a very good lobster bisque and a cassoulet that was much too salty. It was also difficult to eat, because the piece of duck (that in my view was overly cooked) sitting on top of the beans was difficult to cut, as it sank into the beans when the knife was applied. I solved this by asking for another plate. The atmosphere and the service were very good, and the food was very tasty - the problem is that whereas one can add salt to a dish that is not salty enough, one cannot remove salt from a dish that is too salty!

            We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Our table felt forgotten and the waiter was clearly serving too many tables. The food was lovely but we waited more than an hour for our dishes. One person got their order in 30 min and the others had to wait. It was impossible to call the waiter. The worst thing was that the waiter wasn’t helpful to my food allergy. He kept telling me I shouldn’t order things without double checking with the cooking staff. I asked about a dish and had 3 back up dishes I thought might be possible but nope. Maybe he knew everything by heart from experience but at one point he didn’t look sure but then said I shouldn’t order it. It left me with no option but to order a $60 main course that I wasn’t feeling. If you have a food allergy, don’t expect to be catered to. If you value service, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

            Nice place for a pre-theatre dinner. The Server we had was really great and so very nice.

            First of all, the venue is decorated beautifully for the holidays. Nothing like a good XMAS tree. Absolutely delicious food! Everything was flavorful and tasty. I was stuffed by the time we got our steaks. A must try in NYC!!

            Had breakfast during the week when they opened at 8am. Lots of tables and a great central location for a business meal. Highly recommend if you need a place in mid town west. Atmosphere is classic french bistro with beautiful arches and a great looking bar. Service was fast and efficient for an hour breakfast meeting and the food was good.

            Love the energy and vibe of this place. I can’t get enough so I keep coming back. Delicious drinks and food and charistmatic waiters.
