With a dazzling dining gallery featuring 40’ glass ceilings, this one-of-a-kind brasserie is built in the tradition of the Belle Epoque, inspired by elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style. The menu features French classics and timeless bistro favorites, with a focus on prime cuts and an in-house meat program. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic cocktails, La Grande Boucherie also features an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature drinks.

                  Excellent experience from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Giving an anniversary gift at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend this if you are in the area. Food was absolutely delicious

                  Beautiful lovely space. Food delicious! Gorgeous outside patio and inside …. Also stunning bar. Sadly our server was extremely inattentive. We waited way too long for them to come to table, throughout the meal and for our check. In fact I had to chase someone down to leave . This was not good. I’d go back in a second but would request a great server.

                  The ambiance was very good. The service was professional but we found the food and beverages over priced. The foie gras was meagre for the cost as were the scallops. The restaurant was trying to achieve fine dining through its overpriced items.

                  Good food, great ambiance although loud inside. Service was lackluster but the food was solid. The neighboring table’s server highlighted the lack of service we received from seating to dessert. Our server forgot about us after each course, replaced silverware directly into the crumbs on the table and failed to refill water on multiple occasions. Although we visited at 12:30pm, the level service has hard to fathom considering the restaurant’s reputation.

                  Enjoyed our brunch. The food was delicious and the setting was like a bistro in Paris. Only problem was our dessert, which was the sorbet, took over 25 minutes to be delivered and we asked both the waiter and the hostess to find out what was causing the delay. To their credit, the restaurant delivered the desert with an apology and told us that it was complimentary due to the unreasonable wait. We have eaten there before going to the theater on several occasions and never had this problem in the past. We will dine there again.

                  We came for a Saturday brunch and chose to sit outside (covered so the NYC summer heat did not bother us). The service was great although the hostess would not seat you until it officially opens at 9AM sharp. The cappuccino and croissants were quite good. I ordered the oeuf meurette which was quite a bit saltier than I had expected/liked, but my companion’s croque madame was great. The decor and atmosphere were quite fitting for the restaurant.
