Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

The steak was amazing. Best steak I’ve had in DC. They also presented a lovely birthday dessert to our table. Food came out fast and was delicious. Definitely telling all my friends about this restaurant.

Not bad, but definitely not worth the price. I would compare it to an elevated Cheesecake Factory unfortunately.

Parisian location in downtown DC. Beautiful people in a gorgeous location. Attentive staff, delicious traditional French dishes and plenty of wine pairings to choose from. This was our second visit and we brought friends to share our bourgeois experience. Music was perfect for the vibe. Already looking to come back.

I had an amazing experience at La Grande Boucherie in DC! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Tim went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—he truly made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for a top-notch dining experience!

My husband and I had the pleasure of trying La Grande Boucherie DC earlier this week. I must say MOUHSSINE's professionalism and kindness stood out. He was not only highly efficient and knowledgeable, but also made sure we felt welcome and valued. His attentive service and approachable demeanor added an extra touch to the dining experience. It's clear that he genuinely cares about providing excellent service, and I would gladly return knowing that such a dedicated professional is overseeing the operations. Highly recommend!

The service was good but the food was Mid for the price. The lobster bisque tasted burnt more than actual lobster. The sirloin was well cooked but the sauce was boring and so was the mash potatoes. Overall the food was okay. Of course you’re paying for the gorgeous place but they need to step it up with the food.

Went for a work dinner and it was embarrassing. Will never go back. We had a table for 10 and were seated right behind the band - couldn’t hear each other talking so asked to be moved. Got put at a terrible table. The boeuf bourguignon was rock hard. The server didn’t bring / forgot 3 out of 10 entrees for our group. Overall abysmal experience and couldn’t get out of the fast enough.

The service was excellent! We were very well taken care of. The food quality was delicious and decent for the price. The drinks were delicious and the restaurant itself is beautiful. For a smaller restaurant we didn’t feel either cramped or rushed during our time.
