Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

Incredible building, delicious food, nice wine selection, polite service. We felt the music didn’t match the location but we will be back to try more of the classic French plates on the menu.

Everything was amazing! Gabriel did a wonderful job! Very knowledgeable on the menus and suggested cocktails that were so good. Would def recommend and be back!

We had an amazing experience at La Boucherie, the service was great. Our server Gabriel was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu the drinks recommendations were great! We will definitely be coming back!

I had a fabulous time here! The food and drinks were 10/10. Our server had the best vibes and recommendations for food. I definitely will be coming back.

A beautifully renovated space that used to be a bank with high and ornate ceiling, carved wood rails, and art nouveau decor. Food is a predictable French bistro menu. We had a steak and a Wagyu burger and both were good but not excellent. Service was very good and attentive.

Beautiful and grand venue but the food and service is average or below average. Can definitely find better and authentic French food around the city at other restaurants.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! It is beyond beautiful! The service was was. Our waiter was engaging, funny and very cute. The food was ok. My steak was overcooked and bland. But our cheese plate was excellent. Dessert was really good. Overall it was a very nice experience. I did have higher expectations for the food. But they are still new. I’ll give them another try in 6 months. It’s worth the visit and prices were very fair.

Once again the team at La Grande Boucherie DC have exceeded our expectations. From the moment you are greeted at the front door to the moment you leave you feel welcome and appreciated. As a multiple repeat customer we had a great experience yet again. Food amazing, ambience excellent, service and hospitality outstanding. If you have not dined here yet, you don’t know what you are missing. Thank you Mufti and Emily and team for a great “date” night.

Love the onion soup and the steak. It’s a lot of food especially the soup so wasn’t able to make room for dessert.There is a restaurant surcharge of 3% on the receipt that not sure what that was about.
