Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

              I recently dined at la Grande Boucherie and had an excellent experience. The ambiance was inviting, enhanced by perfect music that set the tone for our gathering. The food was outstanding; each dish was delicious and beautifully presented, making it a delight to share with my friends from NY. Overall, [Restaurant Name] is a fantastic spot for a night out.               There's a reason you can get a reservation at this place any time of the day, any day of the week. The food is okay at best - it's the kind of food you would expect at a low end suburban chain restaurant. The prices are ridiculously high. The service was good -- a little rushed at first but then it slowed down -- and the surroundings are gorgeous. But all that is not enough to overcome the insultingly high prices and mediocre food.

              The aged ribeye was GREAT I highly recommend it. It was cooked perfect with a nice sear on both sides. The middle was perfect medium well and hot. Congratulations to the Chef that prepared the steak. Our server, Justin was great and the folks that assisted very friendly. Please let Justin know. The place is beautiful inside. We will be back.               Outstanding Experience The walk up the stairs to this majestic setting sets the mood for what will come: extensive menu with delicious options, fantastic wine list, cocktails from magical bar, unbeatable sound system. Thanks to Greg for making our experience wonderful.

              Everything was amazing! Started with the St. Martin Summer cocktail. Refreshing and well balanced. Had the 30 day dry aged Tomahawk! Dry aged in Himalayan rock salt which adds a natural flavor. Had the cauliflower as a side. Adrian and Michael was great. Attentive and knowledgeable.

              Dined with friends for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the Steak Frites and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be back!
