Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

      I always enjoy my time at la boucherie especially today that they started a half price bottle of wine, which we ended up taking advantage of. Great food and service.

      La Grande Boucherie in DC is a phenomenal establishment, serving delectable meals in a refined setting. Yet the staff is affable and kind. I had a fantastic night and look forward to coming back. Their duck prosciutto is a must-try!

      Music good but too loud. Management refused to reduce the volume which measured at 90 decibles on my wife's phone. Food was good, but service went downhill after the entrees were served.

      Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff is berry knowledgeable. The menu offered a wonderful variety of dishes. The restaurant takes pride in every detail, from the food to the service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

      I met here with a couple of friends. Great atmosphere and great service. Food was very good - I had the prime NY steak frites and escargot which I absolutely loved. Even the bread service was excellent. The place itself is truly grand like its name with a great room with piano and second floor balconies that overlook. A large and inviting bar anchors the room. The manager came by to check on us and let us know about live jazz Wednesdays and Fridays. I will definitely come back for that!

      I dined at this restaurant with my friends and had an amazing time. The ambiance at this venue is spectacular! It looks very fancy and rich, there is a piano located at the main level and live music is offered on Wednesdays and Fridays. The service was great, staff was attentive, the manager came by to check on our experience and we felt well-taken care of. The cocktails menu was very interesting and all three of us enjoyed our selections. The food menu was great offering French classics, along with a decent selection of steaks and fish. The location of this restaurant is great too and there’s a valet conveniently located at the corner of the street. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who would like to experience a chic European vibe while enjoying great cocktails, food, and ambiance!

      It was an incredible dinner! We went out with high exceptions with my family and friends. Justin was our server and took very good care of us. The food is excellent, and my favorite part the desserts were incredible! I recommend it!
