Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

One of the best culinary experiences! Great French menu, all service members are friendly, knowledgeable and ready to make recommendations if asked. A beautiful experience for all senses! Highly recommended!

The venue is beyond exceptional. Service and food were both very, very good. The brunch menu provided something to satisfy our group of seven. Highly recommend this newer gem.

The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and charming, perfect for a special occasion or just enjoying a cozy atmosphere. However, the food was just okay, nothing extraordinary that stood out. Additionally, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality of the dishes. Worth it for the setting, but not so much for the food.

The location is stunning, but unfortunately, the food does not live up to expectations. The escargot was acceptable, yet it fell short of being noteworthy, especially when compared to the standard set by LPM in Miami, which is far superior. The Filet Mignon au Poivre was served cold, lacking a peppercorn crust, and accompanied by a gravy that tasted pre-packaged. While the quality of the meat was excellent and exceptionally tender, the overall experience was disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant, as there are superior dining options in DC that offer better value for money.

Food was good. Service was great. My only complaint was that although the main floor had open tables they sat us up in a balcony which made for an unpleasant experience being there.

Wonderful space, buzzing with patrons, live band. food was nothing special for the price point- not that tasty. They also could not accommodate gluten free requests. Go for a drink at the bar and take in the historic building.

Zeno our waiter made our dining experience truly wonderful! First the entire dining room was gorgeous!! Your hosts braved the cold weather and helped us to a perfect spot. The scallops were yummy but had onions which were not noted on the menu. Overall a 10! And did I mention Zeno! Great service!
