Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

Food was good and the ambiance was great. We were overcharged (hopefully accidentally) by a couple hundred dollars.

La Grande Boucherie seems to have fixed their earlier staffing problems. The service and food were perfect. The place is beautiful and impressive. I would highly recommend a visit

Les propositions du menu ne sont pas toutes disponibles...certaines appellations n'ont de français que le nom...déception.

Although they were 25 minutes late seating us for our reservation, Bolade made our birthday celebration wonderful. The ambiance and the location were perfect.

Everything was fine but my major mark on the night was the bathrooms were an absolute mess, there was TP all over the floor, a number of the stalls lacked toilet paper. For a restaurant at this price range it is unacceptable for the bathrooms to have been not serviced for that long throughout the dinner service,

Agreablement surprise par ce restaurant! The food was decent and the service was just amazing. My steak wasn’t cooked to my liking and our server immediately suggested to changed it for me and was attentive to my comments. Will definitely visit again!

Waited over 25 minutes for a table after my reservation time so walked out and went elsewhere. The front of the house was a shitshow!!!

This was my first visit here and the waiter suddenly ended her shift during our service and our table of 2 did not get placed with another server until I spoke up after she disappeared for about 20 mins. This was before putting in an order for our entrees. It also took 30 mins to be sat, another 30 for a bottle of wine. Food was great but service was 🚮.

The ambience and food selection were fantastic. Perhaps because it’s a newer space, it seemed some of the service staff were not as knowledgeable/experienced for what you might hope at that price point.

Horrible horrible experience. Ruined my anniversary. Good was cold send back twice still couldn’t get it right horrible service.
