Poor and slow service and very bland food. Waiter was very attentive and friendly when the restaurant was empty but once it got busy he was nowhere to be found and borderline rude. Noisy restaurant with loud music playing on top of it. Not worth the price.

The ambiance of this restaurant immediately grabs your attention. Very elegant decor and the view of the city from the second floor is stunning. The food was very rich, tasty without being overly seasoned. This place is perfect for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. The manager Jonnhatan was extremely warm and inviting

We loved everything about our evening at La Grande Boucherie! Our waiter Bryan was so warm and friendly and efficient. (And also patient with us-some of us could make up our minds!!) The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. The onion soup and the rib eye steak are must try’s! Can’t wait to return.

A truly exceptional dining experience! Our server Bryan was top notch! I mentioned to Bryan that I was not able to consume alcohol last night so he suggested the PJ Breeze. It was amazing! The Mousse de Foie Gras was excellent. The cherries and crostini which accompanied the appetizer made it exquisite. The French Onion Soup with the Gruyere Cheese was scrumptious. My husband commented that the meat in his Boeuf Bourguignon was the tenderest he's ever had. I enjoyed the pork Diane. Both dinners were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We shared a Creme Brulee which was delectable! Our compliments to the chef! It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to trying more dishes!

I normally don’t review restaurants on Open Table, and also I try to be understanding of lapses in service, but yesterday’s meal was a new low. We struggled throughout the evening to get any attention from the waiter and had to repeatedly flag down busboys and the hostess in order to order appetizers, put in our main order, and get drinks. It was possibly the worst service I’ve ever had in a high end Chicago restaurant. It was a Tuesday, so it was not as though it was weekend rush. Will not be going back here.

Very impressed with the service, ambiance, and quality of the dishes that were served. I was invited back after having a less than stellar previous experience for brunch and I was delighted to experience how the staff can really shine during their dinner service. The General Manager here really understands his clientele and you can tell that he is dedicated to quality and honoring his customers. Great experience that I recommend. I will certainly return.
