Housed in Chicago’s Belle Époque building, the unique Art Nouveau-inspired space honors the iconic building’s legacy while providing guests with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and menu. La Grande Boucherie blends the ambiance of an indulgent steakhouse with a refined Parisian brasserie charm, and fuses traditional French cuisine with Chicago’s River North culinary heritage. The two-story restaurant boasts custom curved stained-glass windows overlooking the bustling streets of Chicago. The interior features custom mosaic marble floors, authentic fixtures, and a racetrack bar sourced from France. Guests can lean into the view and take in all that Chicago has to offer.

                        Amazing service and food. The bussing team was excellent and regularly cleared small plates as the table was small. We will 100% be back

                        First time dining here and the staff were great. The manager, Connor, was very knowledgeable about absinthe and even brought some to our table to try! The food was excellent.

                        We enjoyed our time at La Grande, but the food quality was okay, in general. The Waygu burger was excellent, but the chicken was more like chicken cacciatore than a “French” roasted chicken. The duck was very good but the accompaniments were just okay. The filet was just okay. Maybe making the menu a little clearer and more “French” would go over well. The cocktails were very good.

                        Beautiful decor but the service was awful and it was so loud we had to scream across the table to have a conversation. The food was average for a steak house and the fish for two was barely enough for one person. When the food arrived it we delivered incomplete, no sauce no sides etc. And one of our guests was sold a steak he didn’t want by the waiter. There are way better steakhouses in Chicago to choose from

                        Nothing to write about. Just blah in every way. Chicken was boring with a red Chef Boyardee ravioli sauce. Save your money and time.

                        We were celebrating an anniversary and the waitstaff broght out a surprise cake with Happy Anniversay on it and the ambiance was beautiful! We were so delighted!

                        My dad was visiting for out of state and I brought him here. The service and food exceeded my expectations. Got a steak and it was one of the best I have had. Juicy and tender. Waitress was friendly and helpful.
