Came in for dinner with my husband and another couple that was in from out of town that we had not seen in a long time. We don't eat out so much buut they are serious diners and we really wanted to impress them with our selection. La Grande Boucherie did not disappoint!! The food was amazing, everything from the mussels to the whole branzino to the tomahawk steak. We loved it all!! Where this place really shined, though, was the service. Our waiter Matthew was extremely attentive without being overbearing in the slightest. You could tell he really cared that we were having a nice time. The manager Connor was gracious to pour us a complimentary round of champagne as well. A nice touch! Our guests commented that this was the best service they had received in years. Thank you so much for a special evening, we will be returning in the future and telling our friends about this gem of a restaurant- LA

From the moment we entered La Grande Boucherie, we were greeted enthusiastically by the hostess, who wished my partner happy birthday. Our server, Matthew, was attentive and friendly, as was Conner, the Manager, who introduced himself. Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding. Thank you for making it a special evening!

The food was absolutely spectacular. Everything was flavorful and seasoned well. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, I also really enjoyed the live music. My favorite was the escargot and steak tartar it was my first time trying and everything was so fresh, I will DEFINITELY be back to try again. My server Teanna was very knowledgeable with the menu and guided me through the many options available and I will be back to dine with her again! Overall experience was a 10/10 and I cannot wait to come back!! Thank you La Grande Boucherie for the amazing experience :)

What a great experience! Food was amazing. But the service is where they shined. From when we walked in the Host was so sweet. We had a pre-dinner drink at the bar. Louis helped us order a great wine. Our server Teanna was the BEST! I recommend this place to all my friends.

Our wait staff - Manny, Michael and Connor - were outstanding. Michael noticed our table was rocky and disruptive and was so kind to insist on replacing our table with a sturdier one which took under a minute. Connor saw this gesture and gifted us a round of champagne on the house for the inconvenience of the table. Michael followed up with a second round of champagne after ensuring we were having a lovely experience, which we were. Many thanks to Michael and Connor!! A very lovely and wonderful experience was had.

Beautiful decor and wonderful building. One loud table ruined it for everybody. Staff brought us upstairs where it was much quieter to have a conversation.

Very nice place for lunch on a Saturday as we are celebrating wedding anniversary. Although in River North but not crowded in the day and peaceful ambiance; scenic view as there are tables both by the window or outdoors with nice flower/plant decorations. Food was delicious including dessert which was on the house, and that was nice too. Would like to go there sometime in the future for dinner.
