The Gruyere soufflé is fantastic. Nice touch on smoked old fashioned. Food and service are top notch, but then so are prices.

I made a reservation for 8:30pm but got there at 7pm. I went straight to the hostess, an older woman with dark hair. I told her I arrived early and asked if we could sit earlier. She said several tables were getting ready, but sitting was no problem. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so it wasn’t a big deal. It was a Wednesday night. After waiting about 5 minutes, another couple with their daughter, who was white, came in, and they said the same thing about having a reservation later but wanted to sit earlier. When I saw they would take them immediately, I walked up to the hostess, who said she would sit us now. I have never felt like that at a restaurant, even in Palm Beach! However, our server, a Frenchman, was fantastic!!! The food was delicious, the best French food ever!!! We got the carpaccio as an appetizer, and I added the truffles on top. I also got the phenomenal Dover Sole with not one bone in it. My boyfriend and his son got the prime rib table-side. I got the most popular martini, which had vodka and was terrific, called C'EST LA VIE Absolut Vanilla vodka ‖ Chinola Passion Fruit ‖ Pineapple & Lemon. It wasn't too sweet but refreshing. If server hadn't given me such excellent service, I would never return, but he changed my mood. The fun part the woman in the front keep checking I was enjoying myself. The bill with the tip was $500 so be ready to drop some money but it is worth it.

Excellent service - as always! Artichokes were delicious and although I ordered the trout almandine, the chef ran out and asked for permission to substitute with the Dover sole. An exquisite dish! Love this restaurant.

While we waited 20 minutes for our reservation we stood on the sidewalk and would have appreciated if we had been offered a cocktail.
