   Food was bland with no flavor or seasoning. The best part was the service, the bread and oil starter and the ambience. Convenient being connected to the hotel but I would recommend making an effort to go somewhere else for better food. Good spot for cocktails if you’re staying at the hotel.

   For an Italian, dining at an Italian restaurant means experiencing the authentic, traditional flavors—regardless of the region, as each has its own unique culinary identity. Unfortunately, this establishment does not offer a truly authentic Italian experience. While they serve Italian-inspired dishes, the flavors lack the depth and originality typically found in Italy. To elevate the culinary standard, it would be highly beneficial for the chef to spend time in Italy, learning firsthand about the techniques, ingredients, and aromas that define genuine Italian cuisine. The service is acceptable; however, the food does not meet the same standard.

   The atmosphere is lively with live music, the food was excellent, and service was fantastic! James is our favorite waiter.

   James was a great server, attentive, congenial, very helpful with questions we had and letting Mom taste a few sauces before she chose her meal. Good food, mellow atmosphere outside by the pool, all staff were good but James really stood out, ask for him.

   If you want a quieter cozy Italian restaurant with lovingly prepared food, La Fuga is your choice. From salad to appetizer to main entries, my husband and I loved all of them, everything was bursting with flavor, but not overwhelming, and great value too for the price. The setting was tranquil, looking out to a courtyard, with a gleaming pool surrounded by Burmese palm trees. We definitely will go back and recommend to our friends if they ever visit Fort Lauderdale.

   Great service, cocktails and food! My husband and I shared the Caprese Salad and the Lasagna. It was plenty of food. The presentation and quality were superb!

   The food was very good. What set this place apart from other dining experiences was the exceptional customer service. It was apparent that every employee was happy to be at work tonight.

    Only complaint is the 2 top tables are a little small. But EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING!
