At La Française Bistrot, we bring Family back to the Family ski town, by being one of the only family-operated businesses in Summit County. From father, mother, daughter and son-in-law, we share the best of what our family loves and cherishes: good food, good wine and a good time.
We do limit our seating times to 1h30mins for parties of 2, 1h45mins for 3-4 people and 2 hours for larger parties. If you expect your seating time to be longer, please make your reservation for later time slots so that everyone gets to enjoy our restaurant without being rushed!

We have a 15-minute grace period & charge $10/person for no-shows or day of cancellations. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we no longer accept online reservations for parties of 8 or more. Please call the restaurant to book for larger groups.

Lovely dining experience. We were fortunate enough to get be seated on the patio overlooking the creek. If you can do this and the weather is nice, I would definitely opt for this. It's so peaceful, and listening to the creek babbling by while sipping a glass of wine is a beautiful experience. The service is very good. Everyone who assisted us was very nice and we wanted for nothing. The food is decadent. We ordered the escargot and bone marrow which is incredibly rich and sinful.... we loved it. The other dishes we ordered were not as decadent but still rich and flavorful and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this French bistro if you are looking for an exceptional meal.

While spending five nights in Breckenridge we had dinner at this restaurant twice. Both times were excellent. Service is always wonderful. The family is just lovely and will do almost everything to make you happy. The food was excellent from the French onion soup, to the moules farcies, the steak tartare, the osso bucco and the boeuf bourguignon. All food items are delicious. The restaurant has a very good selection of great French wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners this year and cannot wait to return next year.

Our waitperson, Joe was excellent. Very attentive, great advice, patient and experienced. The food was exceptional—unusual, tasty and authentic. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This was our second time visiting, the first was last December 2023. Everything was excellent. I had the sea bass with fresh veggies, which was perfect and my son had the eggplant, which he also said was great. We should have shared his dessert of two large creme puffs with ice cream covered in chocolate (can’t remember the French word). We sat outside by the river and enjoyed the beauty!

The server didn’t seem to know the menu very well. When we asked him questions, he had to read the menu and even then, his answers seemed not confident. Considering what we paid per entree and appetizer, that was a big miss. Several of the escargot had sand in them. The duck plate was so unappealing visually and tasted just ok. The scallops were great. The crème brûlée wasn’t bruleed enough and tasted very generic. Our server never came back after giving us our entrees and we never saw him again. The owner (Margot, I believe) walked past us several times without any acknowledgement or to see if we needed anything else. I had to ask her for a dessert and our check when it was clear we were finished and just waiting. Very disappointed. Both of said this would not be a repeat restaurant on future visits.
