                        A group of 4 made reservations for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. We had requested a window table if possible when reservations were made a week earlier. When we arrived 10 minutes before our reserved time. The hostess made no mention of the window table and we were seated by the entrance corridor instead. 5 minutes later, a window table opened up and was given to another foursome. I don’t want to make a big deal about the table, but, I just don’t like how the whole request was handled. The appetizers were very tasty. The entrees were relatively small portions and not as tasty. The rigatoni pasta was undercooked. Other entrees were just OK. Desserts were very tasty. Waiter seemed like he was not having a good night. Never smiled, just didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. He went through the motions and took our orders, but, he was certainly not welcoming. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed. We had been there twice before, the last time being just before the Covid 19 epidemic. We recall it being a nicer overall experience back then.

                        Our meal was wonderful, as was our service. We were greeted with smiles from everyone, and had a wonderful ocean view table on the 3rd floor. The burrata with melon was delicious! Everything was beautifully presented and the staff went above and beyond in anticipating our needs. We will definitely be back.

                        We always have a great experience when we go to La Finestra. It is our favorite restaurant in Sea city! They make you feel like family.

                        Been a regular customer for many years and over our last 4-6 visits, things have just declined. The food is fabulous and the reason we keep going back. The overall service has totally deteriorated. It used to be top notch with a server and two assistants. Our most recent visits we had a half attentive server, with nobody else in sight. We sat with empty water glasses, nobody checking back after our meals were delivered, after we waited well over an hour after ordering. At several times during our almost 2 hour visit, there were no employees in sight anywhere. We were surrounded by dirty tables, filled with dirty dishes from guests that had left. We were not offered the typical lemoncello, nor asked if we wanted any coffee. The check was dropped and that was it. After probably 20 visits, we won’t likely be back.

                        The appetizers were exceptional, but it kind of went downhill from there. The Milanese had no flavor whatsoever almost felt like a chicken cutlet was frozen.

                        La Finestra is our favorite restaurant in Sea Isle and never disappoints! Service is always attentive and the food is delicious. Last night's filet mignon special was amazing as was the home made lobster ravioli. Best of all, they accommodated a special request for a pasta that is no longer on their menu. It made our night!

                        Great place in Sea Isle City for dinner. Host staff are polite, servers are friendly and efficient, food is delicious and you can't beat the view.
