La Cucina Sul Mare in Falmouth serves up a blend of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine prepared by skilled chef and owner, Mark Cilfone. The interior of the eatery is warm and inviting with large hand painted murals, large picture windows that provide a view of busy Main Street and tin ceilings. La Cucina Sul Mare specializes in the preparation of Northern Italian dishes using old world cooking skills.

Be sure to try the saltimbocca, marsala, piccata, limone, parmigiana, lobster and asparagus ravioli with sauteed sea scallops, sweet potato encrusted scrod or the almond encrusted salmon. La Cucina Sul Mare serves up freshly made pasta and seafood dishes daily.

From start to finish, everything was amazing. Caroline our server was attentive and very kind. Our food was delicious. My lemon drop martini was amazing.

We had a birthday dinner for our daughter on Friday and while the overall experience was good and the food was excellent we had a communication breakdown that was extremely disappointing . Despite making comments in the note section of the open table reservation app and going to the resteraunt in person early before the birthday guest they still managed to forget to bring out the dessert with a candle so we could celebrate. The hostess had even given me a dessert menu to pick a dessert and asked my daughter’s name😡and the waitress still forgot. How does this happen?? It was upsetting and embarrassing for us making it look like just another night! We even had gifts with us and our waitress clearly knew it was a birthday celebration. We did not say anything, we just left but we will not be doing anything like that there in the future and we did call call later to talk to the manager and were told she was too busy to talk to us! Nice job LaCucina😡👍

A wonderful lunch in downtown Falmouth. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. And it was quiet enough to really enjoy a conversation.

Have eaten at Cucina regularly (when on Cape) since it opened, including for my rehearsal dinner. Last night was my first bad meal. The veal piccata was dry and tough, way overcooked and pretty skimpy as well.. The other six meals looked terrific and all of my family and friends greatly enjoyed them. I think I just got unlucky. The waiter was terrific -- really, we love Cucina and it is every bit as good as the "great" Italian restaurants in Providence.
