Date night with my wife and we always enjoy La Cucina. We sat in the outdoor area and even though it started raining, the weather cover was pulled out right away and the heater turned on. Alison, our server, was attentive, helpful with recommendations and pleasant which just elevated our dining experience. The food was absolutely on point. The burrata appetizer is a must, the lamb shank was substantial and delicious and the ravioli was full of rich flavour. A wonderful place that never disappoints.

The Tagliatelle All’Aragosta is an amazing dish to try. Cannot recommend it enough.

We had the duck and lamb shank, terrible. The chef must have missed that cooking class. Both the duck and lamb shank were really tough, even a sharp knife did not really help. The rice with the lamb shank was undercooked. My wife also had the pasta and it was not even close to being el dente, again under cooked. Unfortunate that your establishment serves these kinds of meals. In fairness the service was great from the two female servers.

Second time here and the food Always is amazing, I ordered the ravioli as it was highly recommended by both servers. We will be back, the patio seating makes you feel like you are in Italy, by far the best patio and restaurant in Guelph
