Our reservation was at 5:30pm on a Friday, as we were seeing a show that evening at 7:30pm, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our meals. My dinner companion arrived at 5:45pm, so I thought I would order an appetizer for when she arrived. I ordered the meatballs and was told that they were out of meatballs.....an italian restaurant....out of meatballs......on a Friday at 5:30pm.....out of meatballs.....really disappointing.....and weird.....for an italian restaurant.....so early in the evening.....at 6pm we ordered our main meals and decided to try a pizza to split as an appetizer, which arrived by 6:10pm, fairly quick, and it was very yummy. Then we waited....and waited....and waited....at 6:50pm we called the waitress over to ask where our food was, as we had a show to go to.....she said she would check with the kitchen....she came back and said that the chef was doing his best and that most everyone dining there was also going to the show.....most of those diners arrived after we did, but anyhow....our main meals finally arrived at 6:55pm (40 minutes after the appetizer was served), and I asked for the bill right away so that we could go as soon as we finished eating, to not miss our show....so unfortunately we were so rushed by that point we didn't get to relax and enjoy our meals....they were tasty, although the portions were on the small side. Overall, not a great first experience there.
