La Cucina is a NEW authentic Italian pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of downtown Kitchener. Although a new location, the owners are not new to Italian food. With strong Italian roots, a passion to create authentic Italian food and a love of quality and fresh ingredients, La Cucina Pizzeria will soon be your favourite spot to eat and hang-out. The irresistible aromas from our custom-built Malagutti pizza oven will draw you in, and the delicious dishes that emerge from it will keep you coming back for more. Malagutti has been creating these refractory stone culinary masterpieces for over four decades. You will be able to see your pizza or calzone cooked right before your eyes.

The Pizzeria will be serving more than just pizza slices: our menu includes antipasti, homemade pastas, paninis, and larger dishes like Veal Parmigiana and Porchetta.

La Cucina is our absolute favorite place to eat, and we couldn’t recommend it enough! The food is always exceptional, with a wide range of delicious options that satisfy both adults and kids. What truly sets La Cucina apart is their incredible staff—they go above and beyond to make sure our kids feel welcome and entertained, making it such a stress-free dining experience for us. Whether it’s the family-friendly atmosphere, the attentive service, or the consistently fantastic meals, La Cucina is a gem we keep coming back to. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for great food in a warm and welcoming environment!

Order the pizza! Always fantastic when I go. Service was a little slow but the server was very friendly at least.

As always , a great experience. Brought our friends who had never been there and they were very impressed. Neil is the best! Be back soon.

Our waiter, Niel, was fantastic…great service. 7 people in our party…each person gave high ratings for their dinners. A great birthday celebration!!

Always delicious and the service was outstanding! Tried the lasagna tonight and it was very good! The only problem is that we are always so full! Thanks to everyone for a great evening

The pasta was undercooked and had minimal seasoning, and they forgot a topping on my pizza. We also had to ask for water a couple times, and when we did it was clear that they don’t have a water softener there. It was okay and the pizza was cooked well, but I don’t know if I’ll go back.

The food at La Cucina is always outstanding. It is our favourite restaurant in Kitchener and never disappoints. (My wife and I highly recommend the Ravioli Al Tartufo BTW). What really made this night so special was the service. Our son loves pasta and usually has the Pasta Al Pomodoro (with tagliatelle) but on this occasion he wanted fries and only fries. Our server Neil handled the situation wonderfully and suggested we get fries from another nearby restaurant. Clearly this is not a new situation for him and he completely understood as a parent himself. I was headed over to order the fries, but before I knew it HE HAD ALREADY ORDERED THEM FOR US. Not only that, it was not on the bill. This kind of thoughtfulness made the rest of our evening wonderful and not chaos with a 4 year old who was wanting fries. They came before our meal and he was ecstatic. Thank you Neil and La Cucina for a great dining experience. We'll be back and telling our friends to do the same!
