La Cucina is a NEW authentic Italian pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of downtown Kitchener. Although a new location, the owners are not new to Italian food. With strong Italian roots, a passion to create authentic Italian food and a love of quality and fresh ingredients, La Cucina Pizzeria will soon be your favourite spot to eat and hang-out. The irresistible aromas from our custom-built Malagutti pizza oven will draw you in, and the delicious dishes that emerge from it will keep you coming back for more. Malagutti has been creating these refractory stone culinary masterpieces for over four decades. You will be able to see your pizza or calzone cooked right before your eyes.

The Pizzeria will be serving more than just pizza slices: our menu includes antipasti, homemade pastas, paninis, and larger dishes like Veal Parmigiana and Porchetta.

Food was amazing!! I think we went on a family night so there were a lot of kids running around but not a huge deal. But cocktails, wine and food were great :) Fresh pasta and pizza that were to die for!

Our favourite neighborhood place to go. The music is just a little too loud to make conversation easy, but hey, that’s just me.

La Cucina serves excellent food. The antipasti taste great! The pizzas are excellent, very similar to the pizzas served in Italy. Service is very polite, friendly and cheerfull. The one big diappointment was the espresso coffee that my wife and I ordered. The taste was fine but the quantity was so miniscule. It seemed like an eye dropper was used. My wife and I have travelled extensively, in Italy, so we know what the quantity of the espresso should be. Perhaps the espresso machine should be examined more closely. The kitchen was extremely busy and most of our party ordered pizza which all arrived together, the one guest who ordered a kitchen meal received his after the rest were almost finished. Our waitress was extremely friendly and apologetic and helped to make our experience acceptable.

We had an excellent experience! The pasta was delicious, as were the salads, spicy shrimp, and tiramisu. Highly recommend.

This restaurant was amazing. The food was outstanding from the appetizers, entrees and dessert. Everyone was very happy with their meals! Definitely will return. The service was also excellent.

The truffle ravioli, tiramisu, and aperol spritz were incredible! And Neil, our server, was very authentic, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Will definitely be back.
