Le restaurant La Costanera vous fera découvrir la richesse culinaire du Pérou. Ce restaurant de cuisine fusion péruvienne moderne a ouvert ses portes le 2 octobre 2009. Situé à quelques minutes de voiture de San Francisco (33 km), il vous accueille sur la côte pittoresque de Californie, à Montara, et surplombe le Pacifique. Il dispose d'un grand espace, de grandes baies vitrées, de 3 étages et de 929 m² d'espace en bord de mer. Il bénéficie d'une vue sur la plage et de la brise marine chaque soir. The noise level is usually high but was too much for one night of sólo dining. There was a diner who had a real high voice at the table and then started a phone conversation there and all the way into the men’s room. Very disconcerting. My waiter was great but forgot all about me. 20 minutes after my appetizer was eaten I had to hunt down someone to pay. This place serves great food and normally has excellent service I must’ve just hit it on a bad night

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever experienced. Excellent food and service, healthy and colorful, delicious… went back the next day for lunch… live music!

The dishes were amazing. We could see a lot of thought went behind the menu, the plating and the balance in everything we tried. The staff is super friendly and professional and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the Atum Criollo or the Pork shoulder if you want a larger serving.

Our son gave us gift certificate to this restaurant for Xmas. So we decided to use it on our anniversary. We got here an hour before our reservation and they accommodated us. Host even greeted us Happy Anniversary. Then we got complimentary bubbly. We ordered the tasting cebiche and yuca, the langostinos and churros and everything was delicious. Best ceviche we’ve had. Even The homemade potato chips and salsa were good. As well as the espresso martini. What made our experience great was the exceptional service from Guimba S. Very attentive and knows their menu and drinks. The restaurant nicely decorated, clean including the bathroom. We were very impressed with the place food and most especially the staff - welcoming and courteous. This was our first time here and definitely not our last. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Guimba for your superb service.

I’ve been a long time fan of this restaurant and for a long time I’ve believed the food is far better than the service. It takes forever to even get a drink you order when you sit down, the food takes a long time, and when you ask for sauce or anything you don’t get it without begging for it. The management should really make some improvements.

Excellent food, service, and location. Enjoyed variety of menu choices as well as staff who were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the dining experience superb.

Had the snapper ceviche, langostine with sweet potatoes (favorite), veggie sautee, mushroom empanadas, and vanilla panacotta. Every dish was delicious, and our server Drew took proper care of us all night. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner. It was a tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was excellent. Our server was right on top of things, and checked in with us appropriately. One small thing…the delivery/spacing of the dishes could have been better, and a sharper knife for the duck breast would have been great. These are small things. Overall, the experience and food was excellent.
