La Cosecha is a local neighborhood Mexican restaurant. La Cosecha or " The Harvest" is a brevity of our stance to bring forward dishes inspired from interior Mexican cuisine; all while utilizing seasonal and local Texas ingredients. The menu centers around sharable dishes, progressing from small to large, with intentions to create a family setting at the dinner table. The food and drink invites you to experience familiar comforts, as well as original flavors, all to tell a story that is modest yet thoughtful.

    You should have another milder taco sauce avilable for kids and people that want something mild.

    This was our first time at this restaurant. We love similar restaurants, e.g. Pappasitos, Lupe Tortilla. This restaurant has a nicer atmosphere. The food is somewhat different and they aren't that great about gluten-free. They NEED a gluten-free menu FOR SURE. But that's not something we told them in advance. They tried to let us know, but they were very "Just don't eat anything that's even sort of questionable, even the corn stuff." That's hard. It's why we usually just go to the big chains because they already know what is gluten-free, etc. My wife is true celiac. Not like some people that just want gluten-free, she has no choice. But other than that, the waitress was very prompt and attentive. (Thank you Grace!) The atmosphere puts the big chains to shame. So much calmer and quieter. We could hear each other talk. Overall we enjoyed it.

    La Cosecha is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in New Braunfels. Since their opening we have been impressed with the quality of dishes, selection of produce and service.

    Margaritas seemed kind of weak, small with low alcohol with alot of ice in such a small glass. They could learn a few things from the restaurant el Mirasol’s chespa drinks . Food and service was outstanding .

    Went 6:30 Thursday, not crowded. Excellent Server, sorry don’t recall her name. Had the Wagyu Steak Fajitas. They are outstanding, husband’s favorite. Steep price point but so good..

    Absolute gem. Everything was stellar. Excellent margaritas, chicken enchiladas, and chile rellenos

    Seated within 15 of reservation time, Friday at 6:30 & they were packed. Good Service. Wagyu Steak Fajitas were fabulous. Our go to favorite dish at La Cosecha.
