Our sensational new restaurant offers the highest standards of Italian cuisine at “The Point” in Astley. With our comprehensive menu including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, we aim to please everyone with traditional favourites or classic food specially prepared by our Head Chef using local suppliers.

No expense has been spared offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a traditional table set up or booths for larger groups of diners. If you prefer a private party, we have a room with bar facilities to accommodate you and your guests. The restaurant and kitchen are brand new and designed with atmosphere in mind to give you an open plan dining experience second to none.

Choose to dine at la casa for family birthday which was mentionedon the booking, 7 adults and 1 child. The food was good and portions are large. The service was very slow but it was 5:30 and a Sunday so can kind of understand, we were given some free garlic bread as an apology which was a nice gesture. We were sat extremely close to the kitchen on one side of the table and a main walk way at the other side. The tables are very close together, this also ment the noise levels where high . When it came to dessert, we asked if we could have a candle in for the birthday girl as we had seen this happen at other tables, sadly this didn't arrive. I don't think I'd go out of my way to dine here again unfortunately

This was a birthday dinner for my partner. Overall the food was stunning. We both had the Filletto Rossini which was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, my partner was ill afterwards. The only thing we had differently all night was the starter. I had mushrooms while my partner had the Scallops. The table we were sat at was right in front of the kitchen which may not have been too bad but for the waiting on staff continuously standing there to collect the food and it being a busy thoroughfare, so it certainly wasn't relaxing. We mentioned it to one of the staff who admitted that a lot of people don't like to sit there. The service from the staff was excellent and while it seems strange to say, apart from my partner being ill afterwards, we would dine there again.

First visit with a friend from out of town after someone had recommended it to me. We came for a pre-birthday lunch on a Sunday so was a quieter period. The staff were friendly, lobster ravioli and garlic bread were delicious and we both agreed we would visit again. Free parking right outside with plenty of spaces on our visit though I can imagine the spaces become full on their busier days.

Lovely staff, excellent service and top quality meal. Would highly recommend. A lovely touch with a piece of birthday cake, candle and lovely voices singing happy birthday.

Always a great experience at La Casa. Great food and atmosphere. Although it was very busy service was stillspot on.

Everything was excellent, from the moment we arrived. All the staff were attentive throughout and the food was delicious.

First time here and very impressed. Food excellent as were the staff. My daughter was 11 and we had her grandparents along for a meal. The staff were tremendous and very courteous towards both the young and older generation. Overall I would put he restaurant up there with the top tier Italian restaurants around Manchester and Cheshire.
