What fun, a lovely restaurant with various rooms from casual to formal seating. Great food for a good value.

We walked by the restaurant (La Casa) last week while exploring Bucerias. After discovering it was a Thierry Blouet (via daughter Vanessa) and had just opened recently, we had to try it out. Having dinned at Café des Artistes in PV, in the past, our expectations were high. Vanessa and staff (Gabriel and Daniel were our primary table hosts) were fantastic! Gabriel was a pleasure and talked through the menu with us effortlessly and with genuine pride. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed yet upscale while maintaining that "at home" feeling. You could feel Vanessa's creative side flowing through the many flavors we tasted. The mussels were fantastic, the broth worthy of a second loaf of bread to dip. The ratatouille is a must. The oysters with candied leek and buttery air are an example of her unique combinations that tickle the palate. The onion tart is bursting with flavors. The arugula lemon capers side dish (presented like a sharable salad) was refreshing and delightful. The char-grilled red snapper was a beautiful presentation, and the sauce served with it is a must-have combination. The sucking pig melted in your mouth with a sweet potato purée and sauce that blended together perfectly. The pear tart was a warm finish, and the chocolate flan with the rice cloud provided the perfect finish to complement the meal. Overall, the evening was a dining experience we will chalk up as one of our favorites in the 30 years we have been coming to Puerto Vallarta - Nuevo Vallarta - Bucerias area. Props to Vanessa and staff! La Casa is a must visit up scale dining experience in the quaint Bucerias local. Brennan

Our server Gerry was spectacular, he was kind and knowledgeable about the menu and wow the food just blew us away! We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and visiting from Denver, CO. Next time we are in PV, we will definitely come back!! We loved the garlic dish, octopus starter and suckling pig entree.

Always a wonderful experience at Thierry Blouet's restaurants! Everything was wonderful. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Beautifully prepared and presented. The location, building and decor was very warm and welcoming. Be sure to check out the terrace with all the fresh herbs plants and comfy furniture.

From the moment we arrived we knew that we were in for a treat! The staff were very friendly and welcoming - just as one would expect from Thierry Blouet’s other restaurants. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The building- a former art gallery - has been transformed into a gorgeous space. Indoor area has fabulous art works and outside felt more casual but chic. My only concern was one side of the patio had a few tables for smokers. Luckily, only a couple of people came out to smoke. Not pleasant!! There is a fair size sidewalk outside that could accommodate people who feel the need to smoke! The menu prices were reasonable and you can bring your own wine for a corkage fee of 500mxn pesos per bottle. Highly recommended!
