Locally designed with the help of some of Toronto’s best street style artists, La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros, run through a mixtape, and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer. Our aim is to serve up a dynamic menu, and connect with the community through our love of art & music.

Located in the financial district is La Carnita’s South Central location in a beautiful two-story heritage building. The upstairs makes for an engaging venue, seating 55 guests with its own bar.

Overall the food was good however we had a massive hair in a taco which turned us off. Staff weren’t very apologetic and barely acknowledged this. Waitress never asked how our food was after eating and didn’t come by to offer dessert. Music in the restaurant was very loud. Tables very close together. Group beside us was wearing heavy perfume (not the restaurants fault) which was very noticeable with the close table proximity.

The staff were super accommodating with timing of our food order as we were needing to finish in time for our show despite a guest of ours having been an hr late to the reservation. Food was delicious and pricing was fair

Overall we were happy with the food and service. The seats/tables upstairs could be a bit more comfortable, and a little warmer. Will be going back but request seats on main floor.

Went here before seeing a broadway show at princess whales we ordered the date night prix fixe menu and it was very good!

Loved the food. The flavors were amazing, portions were just right, and service had no delays. The only thing missing was a coffee or Espresso on the menu.
