Le restaurant La Caille est la première expérience gastronomique de luxe de l'Utah. Situé sur une propriété de 8 hectares parmi les plus convoitées de Salt Lake, le Little Cottonwood Canyon, La Caille offre une vue à couper le souffle, des jardins bien entretenus, les rivières du canyon, des vignobles luxuriants, des sentiers de briques sinueux et un authentique décor français.     The grounds are beautiful, the wine tasting experience - awesome. The dining experience was not what I would expect for all that I have heard about the famous La Caille. First, I specifically sent in a request when I made the reservation for a private more secluded part of the restaurant. As this was a milestone anniversary celebration. The Maître D' took us to the brightest most populated section of the restaurant where there were families and kids. Then tried to seat us in a table right in the walking path of everyone going to and from the kitchen. The table was where a painting was hung so low that there was no way a grown adult could sit comfortably in the seat. Thankfully we requested to be moved and with a little huff from the Maître D' we were moved to where I originally requested to be seated when I made my reservation. Secondly, why post your dress code if you aren't going to enforce it? Baseball cap and jeans are not business casual. During our wine tasting experience we were discussing about booking table for Christmas, after our dining experience, no. We will not be back.

    Every course in the meal was fantastic. The drinks in the bar were wonderful as well. Of course the grounds are stunning.

    La Caille is a beautiful property and an excellent restaurant. We had a reservation and they seated us promptly on their outside patio with an awesome view of their vineyard and the mountains. Our server Troy was wonderful and service was very good. Food was excellent and tasty. Overall an excellent evening.

    The food and grounds are phenomenal. This place needs a general manager who can assist with the service. Emails about a special occasion went unanswered as did phone calls. The waitress was incredibly slow (waited almost 20 minutes before being asked what we’d like to drink, didn’t bring bread service, and we had to ask what the specials were), stressed out and failed to bring silverware after being asked twice. Struggled to open a bottle of wine. When main courses are $75, you expect a lot more than having to hunt for your own silverware from the table next door.

    We went for our wedding anniversary and it was an amazing experience!! I would go back and plan to for their brunch and we will be taking our daughter

    Beautiful setting, great service, my only complaint is that a $125 steak is only an inch thick (if that). Would have expected more for that price. Overall it was great and very romantic.

    Beautiful location staff was amazing. We've been twice in one week after discovering this location. Will be back again.

    Go for the ambiance; you won’t be disappointed. Food was good. Cocktails poor. One had to be sent back due to r forgetting the alcohol, plus there was no garnish (Bloody Mary). The other two cocktails at our table had barely any alcohol in them; not even an ounce. They were 20 minutes late seating us, even with a reservation. We didn’t mind as it gave us more time to look at the lovely flowers and peacocks. Our server was very nice.

    Our server, Hayden was excellent- great service, recommendations and communication. Really added to the overall experience. Duck was cooked perfect and the escargot shouldn’t be missed. Perfect romantic date night spot. Looking forward to going back.
