Le restaurant La Caille est la première expérience gastronomique de luxe de l'Utah.     La Caille is a beautiful property and an excellent restaurant. We had a reservation and they seated us promptly on their outside patio with an awesome view of their vineyard and the mountains. Our server Troy was wonderful and service was very good. Food was excellent and tasty. Overall an excellent evening.

    The food and grounds are phenomenal. This place needs a general manager who can assist with the service. Emails about a special occasion went unanswered as did phone calls. The waitress was incredibly slow (waited almost 20 minutes before being asked what we’d like to drink, didn’t bring bread service, and we had to ask what the specials were), stressed out and failed to bring silverware after being asked twice. Struggled to open a bottle of wine. When main courses are $75, you expect a lot more than having to hunt for your own silverware from the table next door.

    We went for our wedding anniversary and it was an amazing experience!! I would go back and plan to for their brunch and we will be taking our daughter

    Beautiful setting, great service, my only complaint is that a $125 steak is only an inch thick (if that). Would have expected more for that price. Overall it was great and very romantic.

    Go for the ambiance; you won’t be disappointed. Food was good. Cocktails poor. One had to be sent back due to r forgetting the alcohol, plus there was no garnish (Bloody Mary). The other two cocktails at our table had barely any alcohol in them; not even an ounce. They were 20 minutes late seating us, even with a reservation. We didn’t mind as it gave us more time to look at the lovely flowers and peacocks. Our server was very nice.

    Our server, Hayden was excellent- great service, recommendations and communication. Really added to the overall experience. Duck was cooked perfect and the escargot shouldn’t be missed. Perfect romantic date night spot. Looking forward to going back.

    Forty-five years ago, I proposed to my wife at La Caille. It was wonderful then, and is still wonderful today. My wife and I had a couple of delightful, inventive cocktails, a tangy meatball appetizer, two of the best main courses we've ever tasted, and a very creative greek-style chocolate dessert. Our main courses, filet mignon and halibut, were cooked to perfection and the presentation was superb. The waiter was friendly, helpful, efficient, and remarkably knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant. We finished our evening with a stroll around the picturesque grounds and the obliging valet took our picture in front of the door so that we can long remember this great dining experience.

    A menu straight out of the 90s. Nothing exciting. But the execution of that menu was terrible. My wife’s lobster bisque had two small pieces of lobster, and had an overwhelming scorched (burnt) taste to it. It was also laughably under seasoned. My hand pulled mozzarella salad was insanely basic (like, I’ve made better and had better at several potlucks). The tomatoes were not seasoned at all, and there was barely any balsamic glaze. And two tiny discs of actual mozzarella. The escargot appetizer was good, but came with two tiny little croutons-sized crostini, even though there were six pieces of the escargot. Lastly, my buiallbase was so over seasoned, it was barely edible. Especially the broth and the toast. Like the broth was over reduced and the toast had a butter spread that was just doused in salt. And for the price, it was extremely disappointing overall. Oh, and the time between courses was insane. The entire meal took 2 hours from start to finish.

    This experience was different than normal. We were in a different room and felt rushed instead of the leisurely experience we normally have. The food was amazing as always but the experience was disenchanting.
