La Cabrera by Gastón Riveira, the internationally acclaimed and multi-award-winning restaurant from Argentina, recently opened its second location in Miami. Gastón Riveira decided to undertake this journey despite the economic challenges in his country because he had a clear vision: he wanted to transform the typical Buenos Aires grill into something that would stand out, not only because of the quality of the product but also by providing a unique and unforgettable experience. “La Cabrera is a creative space where I can express myself and explore new dishes, but it is also the place where I take pleasure in not only revamping and improving but also diversifying the classic dishes that I am so passionate about.” The secret lies in our grilling methods, using special techniques and constantly experimenting with new ideas. It was a great experiance, the food and the place were great, we were sitting in an area with low visibility from the main area and we did not receive the service La Cabrera usually gives I will give it another chance because they just opened three months ago

Steak was cold send it back it came back burnt. Nice place but food quality is below average.

I am on a wheelchair and accessibility is a major issue. In my reservation I always put down that I am on a wheelchair. This was the only restaurant that called me to confirm the reservation and referred to the wheelchair. Access was difficult but the manager, Ms. Eskenazi was extremely helpful and patient. We spoke to a diner next to our table and when I had to go to the bathroom, he offered to help. An incredibly kind gesture

Visited on a Wednesday at 7:45 pm. I personally didn’t like the Non-open space of the restaurant. There’s a wall/shelf dividing the tall tables and the bar area, and on the other side a square space for two rows of tables against the walls. The place is not huge but would feel less boxed if it were an open space. I like visiting places where I enjoy the place & food. Loved their house complimentary sort of appetizer, it’s a kind of onions cooked in a creamy sauce with like 6 small puréed pumpkin, others were sweet potato, roasted garlic, etc. I wasn’t sure if this was to eat by itself cause it didn’t seem so, asked the waiter if it was to compliment the meat later and she said, “ you can have it with bread or alone or yes with your meat, but we have NO BREAD now. ( the table next to us asked the same thing) The burrata with avocado was also good. What I Didn’t like: ordered a Medium entraña and it was brought overcooked. There was not even pink in the middle. I know the waiter knew it was overcooked, she sliced it for me and asked if it was ok. I honestly would’ve not accepted it, but I didn’t want to wait, was pressed on time. The vegetables were really good with a smoky taste to it I loved. I believe it comes from the Josper cooking method they use. The crepes of dulce de leche were very good too. Overall it wasn’t a great nor bad experience but don’t think I’ll be back. One of those places you visit once and left with nothing to remember that makes you return. Just the fact that a meat specialty place can’t deliver a meat at the right temperature as if it was a cheap corner eatery makes me go elsewhere, there’s plenty to choose from.
