    Phenomenal food (the best steak I’ve ever had), wine list is superb, knowledgeable and helpful staff, good prices, a true gem of a find in The Hills

    This was our 3rd visit to La Boucherie (the last 2 visits were more than a year ago). Sadly, while the service and the steaks were top quality, the rest of the food was disappointing relative to what we had come to expect after the first 2 experiences. The $90 lobster tails were very tough and felt overcooked (2 people in our party order this and both said the same). The Confit duck was also overcooked. The sides and entrees were good but not the 'excellent' we had experienced previously. $30 per kids meal was also excessive but I understand they may need to do this to make up for a seat that could be otherwise used for a full paying adult. On the upside the steaks were some of the best we've ever had, and the wait staff looked after us very well.

    Absolutely amazing. Service was top tier. A real French feel! The food was spectacular. Would recommend.

    Lovely French restaurant and glad we got to have dinner here and try the food. We ordered the charcuterie special and bone marrow topped with steak tartare for entrée. They were both nice and tasty. For mains I ordered the bouillabaisse and hubby ordered the Coq au vin. My bouillabaisse was nice but I needed to added more seasoning and coq au vin was also nice and filling. The chicken had great flavour. The wine I paired with each meal was on point and complimented the meal. The Basque baked cheesecake for dessert was a standout and I highly recommended trying it. The crème brûlée was nice but felt the sugar top was slightly burnt so gave a bitter taste on the tongue. All in all a nice meal, the waiter staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive. a lovely French restaurant that I will want to visit again.

    A wonderful evening, Open kitchen is fascinating to watch, the chefs move like clockwork interacting together to create wonderful food!

    A little of jewel in Baulkham hills area. Very warm welcoming staff. Selection and quality of food at its best and excellent. Choice of options to choose from start to end is fabulous. All food that we had was excellent and we could not complain at all. The price is bit high but worth trying. I will come back again to try the rest of the menu. Thank you La Boucherie

    Steaks were cold and really average, pricy and no taste. Entree was ok, ordered the calamari, nothing special. Decor was a bit dated and needs a facelift. Service was good and friendly. Overall it’s ok but pricy for what you get.

    Everything was excellent, from the time we walked in, service was outstanding, followed by high quality food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
