Ouvert en 2006 par le chef et propriétaire James Campbell Caruso (trois fois nominé au James Beard Award), La Boca est un restaurant de tapas espagnols situé au cœur du centre-ville de Santa Fe. Influencé par ses voyages en Espagne, le Chef James cultive des synergies d'authentiques ingrédients espagnols pour créer des plats traditionnels et modernes. Des mets tels que les fines tranches de thon arrosées à l'orange sanguine et aïoli, surmontées d'olives Kalamata et sel de mer fumé créent une constellation de saveurs différentes dans chaque bouchée.     Celebrated a very important birthday and Boca made it special. Selections from their menu each paired with sherry was delicious. We’ve made Boca a favorite every visit to Santa Fe.

    I found this to be a different dining experience then your traditional order an appetizer, then a salad and finally an entree experience. Here you order as many "small plates" as you wish for your table. You can order multiple dishes and continue to order more courses until you are full. The food was great as well as the service. Also, if you are in the mood for a cocktail, I would recommend you try their old fashion, it was one of the better ones I have had.

    La Boca is one of those places were it is consistently good. We have never had a dish we didn’t like. The food is amazing. The gin and tonics are delicious and light. Service is always attentive. It’s always a great option for food in Santa Fe.

    Great range of tapas well prepared and delivered. Out servers were helpful in guiding to portions and flavor’s of various dishes. The kitchen delivered delicious and well presented plates that our table of 4 shared with enthusiasm for each dish. The focus on Spanish wines was a nice touch for this menu. Would happily return.

    The staff and ambiance were excellent. The food was mediocre. My husband is a huge fan of garlic shrimp, so we ordered the dish at La Boca. It had only a hint of garlic and was so salty it was nearly inedible. We also had the mussels which were just OK. We ordered bread to enjoy the sauces which was brought out with a side of olive oil. The oil was rancid and left a horrible taste. We have been to Spain dozens of times and the flavors were authentic but overall the meal was mediocre. We did not find it worth the money and were overall disappointed with the meal. Serving rancid oil and over salting a delicate dish like shrimp are just inexcusable.

    Absolutely DELICIOUS! Some of the best food we have had in Santa Fe. Definitely will be back every trip from here on out.
