La Barrita features Argentinian style steak seasoned with mouth watering chimichurri, home made pastas, and empanadas. Nestled in the Butcher's Hill neighborhood, La Barrita provides intimate atmosphere with a Baltimore industrial feel. In the warmer months enjoy al fresco dining when we roll up the garage doors.

At La Barrita we treat our guests like family. An upscale casual restaurant, we suit a variety of dining needs, from special occasions to catching up with friends; you might even catch a soccer game on at the bar.     Went to dinner with my husband and daughter on a Monday night. For appetizers we had the 3 empanadas, chicken and spinach’s. We loved the chicken, didn’t really think much about the spinach. We also ordered the chorizo and it came with fries. We enjoyed the chorizo so much! For main courses, we had the parrillada for 2 and the spinach ravioli. The ravioli was delicious! My 12 year old loved it! The parrillada had various cuts of meats with a chorizo and it came with a vinaigrette salad on the side and fries. We enjoyed every bite we could eat. We ended up taking the rest home because it was a lot. Overall the ambiance was pleasant, the service was excellent, the food was delicious. Will visit again because I want to try their desserts!

    Fabulous evening here with friends! We got the empanada Trio, the lamb, and the spinach ravioli. Everything absolutely delicious! Maybe this is the sangria talking, but we had a fantastic time! (the sangria is also very good!) great atmosphere, wonderful service, good food.

    It was amazing, the food, the service and the price. It wasn’t cheap but it was fair.

    Service, ambience and especially the food was excellent. Outside of Charleston, Baltimore they had the best Filet Mignon steak in town. The Beef Carpaccio, Arugula salad, and their pasta's are fantastic. Well worth the trip up to the city and parking actually was pretty easy right in front of the restaurant.

    Another great dinner; love our local restaurant! Brought guests from New England and Florida, both loved it! Don't forget to order a pasta! It MIGHT be a steakhouse but the hand made pastas are world class.

    La Barrita is a wonderful place to have a meal. My boyfriend, my son, my son’s wife and I had dinner there on Saturday. We were celebrating her birthday. We were welcomed and seated right away. I had made a reservation since I saw on their website that it was recommended. The place is small so it is best to have reservations. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt at home. They have inside and outside seating. We sat inside. The ambiance is great. The chairs at our table were very comfortable. The service was great. The food was delicious as well as the sangria! We had the red sangria and they also offer white sangria. It is a bit pricey though I think it’s worth it for what you get in return. We were able to find parking right across the street from the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back there!
