Nestled in the Butcher's Hill neighborhood, La Barrita provides intimate atmosphere with a Baltimore industrial feel. In the warmer months enjoy al fresco dining when we roll up the garage doors.

At La Barrita we treat our guests like family. An upscale casual restaurant, we suit a variety of dining needs, from special occasions to catching up with friends; you might even catch a soccer game on at the bar.     Definitely best steaks we’ve have since moving to MD from TX. We loved everything, from the appetizers to the dessert. We’ll be definitely going back.

    Always incredible food and service. La Barrita is a favorite date night spot. Also wins most likely to impress your foodie friends (or out of town friends) who think they’ve seen it all!

    I love this spot. This was our second visit and we're already planning a third. Empanadas were excellent and the ribeye steaks came out perfectly cooked.

    The experience was really nice. I went in on a Thursday (night of a storm, so cant really speak to ease of booking) and the place was maybe half full. The servers were prompt in getting us drinks and food; they let us know some things were made to order so we knew what to expect. We got the steak and salad for 2, and it easily could have gone three ways if we wanted! The empanadas were also fresh and hot. The floor is very slippery, even when dry, so be careful wearing heels. The high top tables are much more plentiful than regular tables and overlook outside. Would go back again for a nice date night.

    Quaint location and nice layout. Service as attentive without being overbearing. Food quality was good and portions were reasonable. Would recommend.

    Pasta, steak, wine-- all delicious. Our server was great, friendly, accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit.

    Excellent, excellent service with bomb drinks! That Mendoza Sour is everything. Had me ordering two! Food was flavorful and brought out on time and right! I felt welcome and comfortable. Great spot to relax, break bread and grab a GOOD drink!!
