La Barra Riverside is brought to you by Mary and Pat Leone. We feature sharable Italian small plates, award-winning pizza, great wines and hand-crafted cocktails. The beautiful space includes a private dining room and a gorgeous outdoor patio. Please be aware that our kitchen closes at 9pm Tuesdays - Thursdays and Sundays. On Fridays and Saturdays, our kitchen closes at 9:30pm. Join us for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-3pm.

    My first time in Riverside, and I found the charming town enhanced the dining experience. My companions did not wish to eat outside, as I did, which I will go back by myself to experience a pleasant late Summer/early Fall lunch on the patio. Our server, Melania (?), was pleasant, informative and efficient. We went there for the pizza, and I was slightly disappointed in the coarseness of the crust, but otherwise the flavoring was great. I will definitely be a return customer.

    Nice place, but it was very loud with large groups celebrsting and a large seminar going on in the adjacent room. They finally closed the door separating the two rooms. The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was non-existant and very slow. We had to remind the waiter several times for minor things like ice, a cocktail napkin, and water. The waiter was very distracted and not a good listener

    The food was absolutely delicious for all three guests, especially the Eggplant Parmesan. It was crisp, chucky and not soggy. They were like eggplant steaks. The Chicken Parmesan was plentiful and the Eight-Finger pasta with chicken was great. However, despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy at that time (4:30ish), the waiter was not cognizant of our needs. We were low on drinks by the time dinner arrived (as we enjoyed appetizers beforehand) and it took us three tries to get the waiter's attention, mostly through the bus boys. A guest was ready to walk to the bar to get a refill on her glass of wine.

    Fish special was excellent- sea bass. We sat at bar and service was outstanding as usual!

    We ate on thr patio. Service was great. The ambiance of downtown Riverside was wonderful and most importantly, the food was awesome.

    This was our first time dining at La Barra. Let me start by saying that we had an awesome waiter, my apologies for forgetting his name. We started asking questions about some of their white wines and he recommended the Pine Ridge. My wife and I both enjoyed it. For dinner we wanted to try a pizza. Our waiter recommended the Danny’s skinny deep dish pizza. The pizza had sausage, onion, green pepper, and mushroom. It was very delicious. It was one of the best pizzas I have had. We will definitely be back.

    Had a great time seeing a neighbors band there. Food & service were great! Tables were spread nicely. Really had a nice evening there.

    Wine by the glass was very good, cab Chopped salad was very good but huge and fully dressed, no chance for leftovers PorkChop - Special, flavorful and moist Green Beans were as good as it gets for green beans Waitress outstanding Music on Thursday night was fantastic Retrospect Music See them if you have a chance
