You’ll find ultra-local seafood straight from the loch, fish from nearby coastal waters, and pork and beef from our crofter neighbours, all served to mouth-watering perfection. We strive to source from sustainable local producers wherever possible, whether for the restaurant or our well-stocked bar. Meet our suppliers and enjoy discovering the best of Scotland’s larder.

Happy dogs are very welcome in the bar.

The food and wine were absolutely divine. The restaurant is gorgeous, chic and cosy at the same time, with a great view, very romantic in the evening.

Beautiful seafood and my husband had the venison which was also delicious - so great options of seafood not your thing. We actually watched the fisherman bring up the catch for that evening from the lock. Couldn’t fault it - the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in my life - really special. Staff were lovely - laid back atmosphere. Spectacular views. Will definitely be back.

Not the standard expected of this restaurant from previous visits. Limited menu - some seafood options not available on the day. A lot of the food seemed to have been prepared (for example the butter sauce in the Trout Tartar was just cold hard butter in the bottom of the dish), the Wild Mushroom Pate was very watery. Smaller portions but more expensive than on previous visits.

Good food. Great views across the loch. Excellent friendly service. Recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is very popular.
