‘A small cottage in the middle of nowhere’
Kutir’s story is taken from a time when innovation with ingredients was paramount. Chefs were expected to craft unique dishes on a daily basis to keep the cottage’s guests happy.
Step into Kutir and we will transport you to a time of magnificent wildlife, abundant forestry and deep human connection. A world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

Second visit and continues to be a superlative experience. The food is exceptional, the service attentive and helpful but not overbearing, all in a great comfortable room. Every dish was very good and perfectly spiced. Wines by the glass also well chosen for Indian food.

Probably the best meal we’ve had in London so far. Food was flavorful, with plenty of zing - but not too much. We highly recommend.

I chose the hunters tasting menu my wife had the signature festive tasting menu. We tried each other's dishes! Flavours were stunning across all courses accompanied by an excellent, well informed waiter who talked us through all the courses and ingredients. We will definitely be back to try other menus!

Great lunch at Kutir. Nice and relaxing dining experience, friendly and attentive staff and great food - Prawn starter and signature quail naan is a must!

It was our first time eating here and the food was great. The menu had lots of choices with good veggie options. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Beautiful decor throughout. We had a truly lovely evening and I would highly recommend it.

We had been to Kutir before and loved it, but this time decided to have the tasting menu, which certainly did not disappoint! They were extremely attentive and ensured that I (pregnant) could have all of the food, even allowing me to change one of the dishes. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the staff are so polite - we will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely food, however we unfortunately had our meal ruined by two people at another table having a photoshoot during our meal. They were taking hundreds of photos with a bright flash and loud camera beep (from start to finish of our meal - over the course of nearly 2 hours). They even went as far as to stand up and take photos in the middle of the room beside our table - it would have been good if the staff told them to stop. A very expensive dinner we couldn’t really enjoy as a result.
