‘A small cottage in the middle of nowhere’
Kutir’s story is taken from a time when innovation with ingredients was paramount. Chefs were expected to craft unique dishes on a daily basis to keep the cottage’s guests happy.
Step into Kutir and we will transport you to a time of magnificent wildlife, abundant forestry and deep human connection. A world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

    we have practically been to most Indian restaurants in London but this was the first time at Kutir. Taken friends visiting from India. The atmosphere was a little dull, food was just Ok -except for Lamb Chops which were undercooked - inspire of asking twice they were still undercooked from inside - and we have eaten these at most restaurants - in fact their sister restaurant Manthan had much better food. The biggest disappointment was the staff - the 2 managers were not particularly interested that the lamb chops were undercooked, did not talk to us, and just said we will tell the chef - took them in first time, when still undercooked ( probably not marinated sufficiently and not cooked well) they seemed least interested. we still paid for them and no smile of complimentary gesture. We should have taken away the discretionary service charge but that seemed petty. So average food, poor service and dull ambience.

    Our first time at Indian Restaurant but very good food and nice atmosphere and also good service.

    Nicely hidden with a very quiet and ambient premises with good quality food . Excellent service to minor detail and attractive environment . Although , we have tried similar food at other places but uniqueness of place with friendly staff is recommendable. Slightly more spicy food as compare to other contemporary restaurants but definitely different ( we tried signature tasting menu ) . Salmon , lamb and desserts were a winner .

    Lovely food in excellent ambience with attentive and friendly service. My 4th visit. The choice of set menus is excellent and helpful for inexperienced diners of Indian food, like me!
