‘A small cottage in the middle of nowhere’
Kutir’s story is taken from a time when innovation with ingredients was paramount. Chefs were expected to craft unique dishes on a daily basis to keep the cottage’s guests happy.
Step into Kutir and we will transport you to a time of magnificent wildlife, abundant forestry and deep human connection. A world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

    Our party enjoyed the experience menus and we thoroughly enjoyed each course. Delicious flavors, beautiful presentation and great service. We had a delicious meal that wasn’t just the best Indian food we’ve gotten but one of the finer meals we’ve had. I would definitely recommend Kutir for Indian food while in London.

    My meal at Kutir is one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was fantastic; incredibly flavorful and wonderful examples of Indian cuisine. I also enjoyed that it felt like they experimented in some places where they could, including interesting desserts and a fun way to recognize a birthday. The wine I had was also fantastic, both glasses. On top of that, the service was incredibly attentive and warm. Truly an experience I hope to repeat in the future.

    Excellent, outstanding. Service was exceptional - gracious, friendly, helpful and anticipatory. Food quality also excellent - all dishes we had. Loved the ambience of the restaurant. Will return every time we are in London.

    This was our second visit to Kutir. This time we went for Sunday lunch on Father's Day. Excellent food and wonderful service. The cocktails are great and a really good wine selection. We loved it. Thank you to the fantastic team!

    We have been to Kutir twice before as a family and always had a very warm, welcome reception and wonderful food. The food remains absolutely delicious. This time however, the service was very luke warm, which is sad, given that we were celebrating Father’s Day across three generations. The staff seemed miserable and robotic and the Maitre D was luke warm at best. We did not feel very welcome , the music was too loud for lunchtime (but they did kindly turn it down when asked), and it is a shame that they do not cater for older children , even at lunchtimes. Sadly, will not be returning.
