Service is poor and uneven in the restaurant. Food is good. Eat at the bar. Don’t bother making a reservation. We made a reservation right before our cruise for Noon on a Saturday. The bar was open and the restaurant opened at Noon and although we got there 10 minutes early they ignored us until Noon even though they had plenty of staff milling around not looking friendly or that they wanted business. We told them about our reservation to ensure that we were seated by the manager to ensure that we were not no showed as they barely paid attention to the fact that we planned ahead. We had this young man as a server who must have been having a bad day because we had to flag him down for everything, to take our order, to get something that was missed on our order (ketchup), to order dessert. The only thing he did proactively was bring the check. I saw another server taking care of another table and she was better but still not even service altogether. The bar, the two or three servers all gave different experiences so your mileage may vary. Now for the good part, the food and drinks were good: I had the frozen non-alcoholic fruit punch. Very good. The quesadilla and the tres leches were two of the best that I had. So that was the highlight. Oh by the way they had folks waiting at the door with no one checking on them since before sat until after we left. So if you go, sit at the bar where you will at least get your drink immediately and order food there you’ll get a Birds Eye view of what others experience in the restaurant. Also if you walk up the stairs to enter from the outside (not from inside the hotel) it’s hard to tell how to enter as there is nothing that lets you know this is the restaurant entrance (it’s the sliding door on the far left side) even there is a sign at the bottom of the stairs pointing you upstairs.
