Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub is a stalwart brewpub serving a variety of handcrafted beers & pub grub in a unique building with old-world charm. Built in 1927 in the historic White Deer Plaza of Sparta Township, our log cabin dining room is a step into the past while enjoying modern amenities. We are open for lunch and dinner daily and reservations are encouraged. Our Krogh's Nest Rooftop Bar is open daily from 4:00 pm during the week and from 12:00 pm on the weekends. The Krogh's Nest offers elevated cocktails, rare spirits, small bites food menu, and the best view of the area perched above White Deer Plaza and Lake Mohawk.

We offer happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, offering $4 Flagship drafts and $1.00 of all other wines, beers, and mixed drinks.

Tuesday night is wing night.

Wednesday night is trivia with Trivia Revolution in the Krogh Bar starting at 7:30 pm.

Live music if offered Thursday and Friday nights.

Join us at Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub for Happy Hour in the Krogh Bar (downstairs bar). We offer our Flagship handcrafted beers to you for $4.00 each (excluding seasonal and specialty beers). In addition, we offer $1.00 of all other beers, wine by the glass, and mixed drinks. Happy hour is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm weekdays, excluding holidays.

We haven't been to Kroghs in years, until this year, when we went 2x. In June, we loved it. We got a table in the main dining room that was somewhat cramped, but fine. We got strip steaks, which were on the specials menu, and they were excellent! This time, we went in September. Sadly, it was raining, so we couldn't try out the rooftop bar. We were first sat at a table in the middle of the room. There were 4 of us. It had two chairs and one bench type seat. The seat was cushioned, but it leaned back, making it very uncomfortable. Simply put, it was old and felt like you were sitting on an old couch that needed serious replacement! We asked to move to one of the booths which was empty. We were warned it would be a bit cramped for 4, which it was, but at least it was quieter. To talk to our friends, if we'd stayed at the table, we'd have been literally shouting all night. The specials menu was devoted to German food for the Oktoberfest, which I knew previously, and did not want, so we ordered from the main menu. I must say, I didn't realize the main menu was so limited. two beef choices, rib eye and short ribs, baby back ribs, one fish choice - salmon, I don't even remember if there were chicken choices. There were literally only like 5 or 6 choices for full dinners (not burgers, etc). My husband and I got the ribs and the rib eye, and shared. The ribs were good, but the biggest baby back ribs I'd ever seen! The ribeye was half unedible due to unchewable fat strewn throughout the whole thing.(Having said that, my friend also got the steak and he was pleased with his). My other friend said the salmon was good. But, salad and no bread before dinner either. I just wasn't impressed. I don't think we'll be going back - unless it's for the the rooftop bar and we just get burgers! My advice - replace all the old couch type seating! And expand the dinner menu.

App came out fast. Food took very long to come out. Food was warm not hot. Value is average. Service was average. Overall it’s was an “ok” dinner experience. I come there for dinner about once a month.

As always, we had a fantastic time at Kroghs! And, we LOVED the Kroghs Nest bar - we "may" have stayed a little longer than we should have - enjoying the view, and the conversation . . . and cocktails!

We were visiting the area and heard from many to go here for a good dinner. All was going well except when our food came out it was cold :( esp my French fries… and no one likes cold French fries, where it absorbed all the grease. My southwest wrap would have tasted 10x better if it was warm. We waited a good while for our food and I was just too hungry to wait for the waitress to come back and then fix our food… I just think that when you are paying good money for food… least it could be is warm…..

I’ve been going to Kroghs for 45 years. Great food and staff. Beer is great. Walk the boardwalk and white deer plaza when you go. Parking is a pain but it’s manageable just get there 20 min before the reservation

Excellent food and ambiance. The staff was incredibly courteous. The only tough issue with Kroghs is parking.

Kroghs is a gem! The food is excellent! Staff are good. They work together. Restrooms need updating and expanded. That’s the only drawback. You may have to wait to get home!
