A multifaceted Asian dining destination in the heart of Mayfair. Discover our fiery Thai dining and our Izakaya style KOYN bar.

Something exciting is coming to the cosmos of KOYN.
In June, our subterranean dining space will transform into KOYN Thai in collaboration with Bangkok born chef, Rose Chalalai Singh. The new restaurant will celebrate the flavours, spices and cooking techniques of Thailand.

KOYN Thai will sit underneath its Japanese counterpart, in the basement of the Grosvenor Street Residence, offering a menu that captures the essence of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and the central provinces.

Rose, known for her Parisian private dining restaurant, Rose Kitchen, and having catered for
some of the world’s greatest fashion and art talent - from Vogue Paris fashion events to The
Gagosian - will make her London debut at KOYN Thai.

Good enough byt highly overrated. Much better Thai food elsewhere in London.

Food is very good, a bit on spicier side. Wine selection is great. Service can be better. “We dont change anything in the recipe” (first thing we were told in an unfriendly manner). The place is very congested, so dont look for a quiet dinner here. Crab curry is superb, as is the beef pepper fry. Overall a good experience once in a while.

Fantastic experience at Koyn Thai restaurant. We went with the tasting menu - the yellow crab curry was phenomenal and our other favorites were the chicken satay, crispy prawn cakes, and mango sticky rice. If you are sensitive to spice, definitely ask about dishes when you order. When we ordered the tasting menu, the server didn't go over spice level with us and some dishes were definitely spicier than expected (we did not expect the Pomelo salad to be spicy at all). Obviously at a Thai restaurant we expected spicy food, so not a big deal, we were just surprised at a couple of dishes.

Service needs a lot of improvement including attention to detail. Food is average. Restaurant not worth being on Conde Naste List.

great food, great service, i will definitely go back. The only thing I did not enjoy was the strange cocktail special with Vegan Cheese on the ice cube. It was not great. Otherwise brilliant experience.

The food was served too quickly. All the appetizers came out at once which didn’t give us a chance to enjoy them and to some went a little cold. The flavors all blended together and were not distinctive. The service was average, but below par for the type of place it is aiming to be. Small details were missed.

We had a somewhat mixed experience at Koyn Thai. As a vegetarian, the food was disappointing, mostly because the choices are limited and most of what I ate, failed to impress. The spring rolls were under-seasoned and the papaya salad was simply poor, lacking any of the complexities of an authentic Thai preparation. Curiously, the restaurant is also entirely peanut-free, which means there is no crunch in the salad and your satay sauce is made with an alternative. The veggie green curry was nice, but that was about it. My wife, who is not vegetarian, however, had a very good meal with an excellent calamari starter and a superb lamb shank. The service was excellent (thanks Akash) but I am not sure I'd hasten back here and with so many good Thai options, this is not one I'd want to recommend.

Far away from Thai cuisine i think you need to change the chef for example patara much butter and it’s real thai cuisine
