A multifaceted Asian dining destination in the heart of Mayfair. Discover our fiery Thai dining and our Izakaya style KOYN bar.

Something exciting is coming to the cosmos of KOYN.
In June, our subterranean dining space will transform into KOYN Thai in collaboration with Bangkok born chef, Rose Chalalai Singh. The new restaurant will celebrate the flavours, spices and cooking techniques of Thailand.

KOYN Thai will sit underneath its Japanese counterpart, in the basement of the Grosvenor Street Residence, offering a menu that captures the essence of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and the central provinces.

Rose, known for her Parisian private dining restaurant, Rose Kitchen, and having catered for
some of the world’s greatest fashion and art talent - from Vogue Paris fashion events to The
Gagosian - will make her London debut at KOYN Thai.

The food was served too quickly. All the appetizers came out at once which didn’t give us a chance to enjoy them and to some went a little cold. The flavors all blended together and were not distinctive. The service was average, but below par for the type of place it is aiming to be. Small details were missed.

Far away from Thai cuisine i think you need to change the chef for example patara much butter and it’s real thai cuisine

We had a really nice authentic Thai meal at Koyn. We were a group of 6 with various dietary requirements including being vegan myself. The staff were very accommodating and thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink service and ambience. We have already booked again! Would recommend!

KOYN is a 2 floor restaurant, offering Japanese upstairs and Thai cuisine downstairs. If you're looking for a taste of Thailand that will leave your taste buds tingling, KOYN in Mayfair is the place to be. This lovely restaurant offers a truly authentic experience, from the decor to the fiery flavours of the dishes. The menu is packed with classic Thai dishes, each more tempting than the last. But be warned, these dishes aren't for the faint of heart! The spice level is turned up to eleven, so prepare to sweat and savour every bite. I had the Chiang Mai Platter for starters and the Thai Red Chicken curry for main. Both tasted amazing, both were SPICY, but the textures and flavours kept me going back for more. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the chefs clearly have a passion for Thai cuisine. And let's not forget the cocktails! The Thai-inspired concoctions are the perfect complement to the spicy food. I would definitely recommend KOYN Thai, and am looking forward to trying the Japanese restaurant soon.

The food was amazing ! 10/10 visited the Thai section of the chain but will be going back to try the Japanese section next time.

Disappointing experience at Koyn Thai for sure. The only thing good was the welcome by the hostess in the reception after which everything was downhill. See below: 1. Extremely hot temperature in the lower level 2.WARM GRILLED AUBERGINE was not great at all; too spicy and nothing Thai about it. 3. VEGETABLE SPRING ROLLS VG and CHICKEN SATAY was average , on par with a Rosa Thai or Busaba nothing exceptional 4.LONG GREEN BEANS was raw and was sent back ; they got it back on our table after 30 mins cooked properly when dinner was over. 5. GREEN VEGETABLE CURRY was good. Service was ok and staff was expressionless and not warm at all. Same situation last two times i went to Bombay Bustle too. The staff seems to be stoic and cold in all these establishments. Please send them to DISHOOM or Chourangi or Rosa Thai even to see the difference in service levels. I had clearly mentioned that it was a birthday and it wasn't even acknowledged . Do you not check the notes ? The bar staff upstairs was quite rude when we asked him to click a picture and said we ask someone else first but when asked twice he came over. I would still go back to Bombay Bustle as the food is good but Koyn really needs to wake up if they want repeat clients. You need to improve improve improve.
