This is one of my favorite places. Has a varied menu. Definitely not a chain. Last night we have the fried feta. It was amazing. My beau had the ribs and he truly enjoyed them. Sadly I ordered the duck quesadilla. The waitress explained that they were a bit spicy. I got three tacos that tasted like dog food. Bland as anything - flavorless. The waitress didn’t return until my beau had finished his meal - when I explained why I didn’t eat she did offer another item - but it was 20 minutes after we had been served. I didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes or so…they were left on the bill. It will be a long time before I return- if ever.

Last night Kounter hit a grand slam. We both tried new menu items. They were bursting with flavor. Kounter is our favorite place for date night. We love Chef Rob and is incredible staff!

Great all around experience - everyone in our party enjoyed their selections- Carolina trout and the scallops entrees were amazing! Service was attentive and cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend!

I went when Kounter first opened and to be honest I wasn't impressed. Fast forward 4 years and it was like a different experience. I never discount a place with just one visit (especially in their first few months). I'm so glad I tried again, I just wish I hadn't waited so long. I've been twice in the past 2 months and both times were wonderful! Skylar was our server last night and she was very friendly and attentive. I shared chicken sliders and Brussel Sprouts with a friend and they were fantastic and plenty! I can't wait to go again!

Excellent brunch at Kounter! Great food, attentive service, and cool environment. Invest the time to tour the mini-museum to learn the full history of the "Counter" and the brave young men and women.
