Bar Koukla is a casual and intimate snack bar setting on the popular Ossington strip. A space where traditional touches merge effortlessly with contemporary design. Our interpretation of the classic Athenian mezedolpoleio mixes authentic meze, a raw seafood bar, a natural and oraganic wine list and cocktails inspired by the Athenian metroploitan culture.

Loved the vibe. The food was fresh and authentic with a twist of modern fusion. Staff were attentive without being pushy. Would highly recommend.

Restaurant is really good. Food is so delicious. Every dish was superb. Great service with a very attentive waitress.

Decent easy-going spot for a drink and snack, easy to get a table. Small but well thought out menu. Swordfish dish was great. Friendly but inattentive service (forgot our wine, forgot to bring spoons with desert etc.) TBH I think there are better dining experiences for the same money, still a spot worth checking out though!

Inventive menu, beautiful room. Lively location. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and we ended up ordering mains and sharing pancakes because we couldn’t decide!

Great indoor table at koukla. But 16 dollars for a non alcoholic cocktail ?? And overall very expensive for small bites. Tasty but not a full dinner experience …

The food options were very limited, dishes were small plates but VERY small. Nothing filled us up, we left hungry.

My go-to for brunch. Love the food here, it’s always on point. My fave is the pestrofa!

The brunch menu is innovative and delicious, different and more interesting than most places in the city. Portions are a good size, not too big so we were each able to order a savory dish and then share their popular baklava pancakes, which were delicious and fluffy. The staff were super nice, attentive and prompt, ambiance was nice and relaxed sitting on the deck, and the noise level was low enough that we were able to have a pleasant conversation without yelling. Will definitely go back for brunch and also try their dinner menu!
