I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kōsen, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We indulged in their exquisite 12-course menu, which showcased a stunning array of flavors and artistry. Each dish was a delightful surprise, perfectly crafted and beautifully presented. What truly set this experience apart was the attentiveness of the staff. They were not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the evening was when the chef personally came out of the kitchen to explain each course and engage in conversation. His passion for the culinary arts and dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience were evident and added a special touch to our meal. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional cuisine with outstanding service, I highly recommend Kōsen. I can’t wait to return!

Wonderful experience! How cool is it to pick out your chopsticks? From the start the service is delightful and unexpected with every course equally as exciting as the last. Service was superb while also being pleasant and interacting with the guests. Wine and sake pairing was amazing. Definitely a special occasion spot, but worth the splurge!

Sadly they forgot our anniversary after I let them know ahead of time it was a special event. They also couldn’t make substitutions for my pescatarian girlfriend. What we did eat was spectacular- but for $300 a piece in the end I would have appreciated them subbing in at least a piece of tuna nigiri for her missing wagyu beef and duck.

Kosen is setting the tone for the high quality level of service and food Tampa has been so in need of. Our experience was on par with some of the best restaruants we have been to in other parts of world. They certainly deserve their Michelin star rating!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, with each dish beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes served, enhancing the overall dining experience. We enjoyed a total of seven courses, each perfectly portioned. This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in the Tampa area. While it is on the pricier side, the quality and experience are well worth it. Highly recommended!

Great experience, very flavory dishes and kind staff. The server was very knowledgeable of the dishes being served. I would recommend this experience.

We dined at Kosen for the first time on our wedding night. It was hands down the most incredible meal we both have ever had. The service was also unbelievable, and we said multiple times that the experience was the best part of our day (and we got married!) Before we were even halfway through the service we decided we were absolutely coming back. We have shown more pictures and videos of the food to our friends and family than us getting married. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
