A 2024 MICHELIN Star Restaurant. Kōsen, which translates to "ray of light", embodies brilliance and enlightenment. This philosophy is reflected throughout every element of the dining experience, from the carefully crafted menu to the striking design. Kōsen seamlessly blends tradition with innovation, delivering a refined Japanese concept to the vibrant Tampa Heights district.

    Exceptional experience. Highly memorable, delicious, and honestly great value for $300 per person. So much food. Would do it every week if I could!

    It was fine. Service was great but overall way too expensive and the food was not mind blowing. They need to change pricing structure. Glad we went but would probably not go back.

    Overall was a good experience. However we arrived a little bit earlier and were asked to wait outside the restaurant. I cannot believe that a one michelin star doesn’t have a bar where people can wait for their table, or they could have offered a welcome drink at least. Also, I didn’t like the fact that the service was a bit too fast, the food is very good and flavorful and if you bring the dishes at a fast pace you don’t have the time to clean your palate in between courses.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kōsen, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We indulged in their exquisite 12-course menu, which showcased a stunning array of flavors and artistry. Each dish was a delightful surprise, perfectly crafted and beautifully presented. What truly set this experience apart was the attentiveness of the staff. They were not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the evening was when the chef personally came out of the kitchen to explain each course and engage in conversation. His passion for the culinary arts and dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience were evident and added a special touch to our meal. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional cuisine with outstanding service, I highly recommend Kōsen. I can’t wait to return!
