I have not been to kooma before. I thought the food was excellent and the environment was excellent as well. It was an excellent value for the price. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend

We love Kooma. It is always a great experience. The food is consistently good I wish you hadn’t changed the drink menu though you eliminated the Asian pear Martini, which was my favorite.

The last time I frequented this restaurant, I sent them a detailed email very nicely explaining the multitude of issues we had in our meal. We never heard back. This is bad form and why it seems this place is rolling down hill. I decided to give them another chance last night. We intentionally selected indoor seating because it was very hot out. I don’t know if the air conditioning wasn’t working or what was going on, but it was so hot in the restaurant then we when we went outside afterward we actually felt like we were cooling off. We went through a LOT of water. Further to the question of ambience, there were multiple lightbulbs out and overall signs of neglect. My beer was not a full pour, so lack of attention at the bar as well. Yeah, it takes more time to properly pour a pint of beer, but it is what it is if you are deciding that you are going to serve beers on tap. Otherwise, just stick with cans and bottles and keep it simple. But any mediocre experience can be bailed out if the food is very good. This is the third time I have gotten the stone pot chicken and it has been excellent each time. Including last night. However, the two people with me both got sushi and said that it was far below average, with ingredients which were not fresh. Notably, the avocado was brown, which means care was not taken in its preparation. At this price point, that is simply unacceptable, particularly for the avocado rolls, which don’t even have other ingredients in it. From my standpoint, I have given this Restaurant significant opportunity. They did not respond to me last time and under delivered yet again last night, leaving two of the three people in our party very disappointed.

Food is always great at Kooma!! One of the only places locally you can get authentic Korean cuisine. Sushi is the best in the area!!

I made a reservation for June 4th at 9:15 pm through OpenTable which showed open for 9:15 pm and 9:30 pm. We had to make it so late as my son's graduation was scheduled to end at 8:30 pm. When we reached the restaurant at 9:15 we were told that they were closed at 9 pm. They claimed that they tried calling me to cancel but I never got any calls from them. Google listing showed they close at 9 on Tuesday so I left without arguing. However, it is their mistake to have the reservations open till 9:30 pm in OpenTable. Their claim that they called and I did not pick up is also not correct. I did not have any missed calls or voicemails. Is there no feature in OpenTable for them to cancel and let me know through it?? We returned disappointed and had my son's high school graduation dinner at a McDonalds.

Have been to Kooma around 30 times. The food is generally very good. Our waitress did a good job. The vegetable soup...outstanding. May Sushi Roll always a staple. The Hot Pots were average at best. The short rib hot pot was good, not great. The shrimp hot pot should be re visited before being offered on the menu. Will try Kooma KOP next. I hear things are better there.

Warm sushi was not edible. Probably a health code violation. Slow service took over 40 minutes to get our meals after ordering. Would not go back, so disappointed. Used to be a great dinner spot.
