Fine art, black walnut walls, Roman clay ceilings, Shou Sugi Ban from Japan surrounds you as you dine in a luxurious velvet seat around an intimate chef's counter. At Konro, everyone has VIP access to our open kitchen while a two Michelin star Chef and Food & Wine Best New Chef prepares and describes each dish in front of your eyes. This is more than dinner, it is an experience. You will enjoy a 10-14 course tasting menu of the best ingredients sourced from around the world prepared with old world techniques.
Our ever-changing beverage program is a mix of classic and avant-garde producers from select parts of the world designed to complement the flavors of Chef's creations.Chef prepares a full nonalcoholic pairing for those who choose to have another beverage option. Chef is over six years sober and takes deep pride in handcrafting each beverage to mirror the experience of the traditional pairing.

Dans ce restaurant intimiste, le chef Jacob Bickelhaupt propose un menu dégustation d'influence japonaise. Au comptoir du chef en quartz de 10 places donnant sur une cuisine ouverte, on peut observer Bickelhaupt préparant 10 à 14 plats de style omakase, comme le wagyu A5 japonais grillé au charbon binchotan et accompagné d'une sauce au soja maturée. Accompagnez votre repas de vins avant-gardistes choisis par son épouse sommelière, Nadia Bickelhaupt. L'espace ultramoderne, aux murs en noyer noir et aux œuvres d'art provenant de galeries locales, donne l'impression de dîner dans une demeure cossue.

Savor ever-changing beverage pairings, from classic to avant-garde, or opt for a special spirit-free selection. Don't miss the iconic A5 Wagyu "drunken" add-on dish, seared over binchotan charcoal with a 12-year-old soy sauce "tare." Konro: where dining becomes an unforgettable journey. If you haven’t been , you are missing out. You must try the Wagyu - little kid tonight said all other wagyu is trash - he’s right. Jacob and Nadia are professionals beyond and are elevating the South Florida food scene big time. The lime juice squirter is the greatest thing in food history. I’m sorry I don’t describe things well but I just love this place and all it stands for. The music, the atmosphere, the education and the experience is the only thing like it in the country. Michelin star on its way. Love you guys.

Jacob and Nadia shatter expectations by delivering impeccable food and service. We are grateful they decided to call South FL home because they are creating a new elevated cuisine here that didn’t exist prior. The quality of ingredients is unmatched, but the heart of those preparing it & serving, is even greater. You will regularly dine with their groupies that visit often and that is a sign of someone doing something that is great. Jacob is a savant that must be protected at all costs! Paris, NYC, SFO, they know Jacob and his skills. They too are in awe of his story of humble beginnings and what he has achieved. Be ready to be transformed as he speaks through his food and directly to your heart.

The chef and his wife were nothing short of entertaining and a complete pleasure to spend time with. They were uniquely prepared and so was the food. I can say it was one of the best 3 meals I have ever had. An absolute 10. You will not find a better host or meal in Florida. I say that as a 72 yo third generation Floridian. I'm not sure you can call it a meal though. It was more of an artistic experience with amazing tastes from beginning to end.
